The procedure of the lesson
I. Organization moment
T: Good morning, boys and girls! I'm very glad to see you!
II. Opening.
Well, today we are going to take new theme. We shall take new theme the names of foods and drinks. What do they have for their breakfast and lunch and dinner?
III. Home work
read the text Ex. 1-6
IV. New theme: "Food and drink" Today we are going to take new theme new words but I think you know some of these words. We shall learn using 'have' and we shall practice speaking about foods and drink. Let's start our lesson.
a. Look at the pictures. How many words do you know? [Show them pictures
Do you know what is it?
Steak - бифштекс
Cereal - ботқа, каша
Burger - бургер
Pasta - макарондар
Snack - жеңіл тамақ
b. Listen and say the words
c. Make up sentences about things you eat and drink. What do you like to eat? What things don't you like to eat. What things do you never eat?
e.g. I like salad but I don't eat vegetables. I never eat ham. [Pupils sentences]
V. Phonetic drill. Vowel sounds
Ex. 2 p. 60
a. Listen to the rhythm drill, then join them.
b. Find "food" words in the drill with the same vowel sounds as these words. [Put these words in right order with the same vowel sounds.]
1. [i] = Big, milk, chicken, fish
2. [ou] = Go , toast
3. [i:] = See, tea, cheese
4. [e] = Ten, eggs, bread
5. [ju] = You, juice, fruit,
Chicken, go , see, eggs, fruit, big, juice, toast, tea, you, cheese, ten, milk, bread, fish.
VI. Listening and writing
Ex. 3 p. 61 [CD]
a. Close your books and Listen to the conversation
b. Listen again and complete the "food" words in the conversation: toast, fruit juice, cereal, sandwiches, pizza, burger, meat, pasta, meat, vegetables, fish, crisps, stick, chips
VII. Game time
Let's play: What have I got in my lunch box?
Is it… ? -- No, it isn't
Is it … ? __ Yes it is. Welcome, It is your tun to continue the game!
VIII. Speaking
Have - has = бар.

What about you? Ask and answer questions about your meals. Make dialogues.
e.g. - What do you usually have for your breakfast?
- I usually have bread and butter tea for my breakfast.
IX. Conclusion
What do you learn from this lesson? Can you use new words? Can you ask and answer the questions about your having foods? OK. Let's check. Let's make up words from these letters. But you shouldn't write the same word as your partner. Then you should say 1 sentence using new theme.
