Цели:

Познавательная: познакомить с новой лексикой по теме «Транспортные средства», сформировать представление о развитии отрасли автомобилестроения в мире.

Развивающая: развивать память, трудолюбие, закреплять навыки самостоятельной работы.

Воспитательная: создать условия, обеспечивающие воспитание интереса к будущей профессии через знакомство с продукцией, выпускаемой концернами.

Тип урока: ознакомление с новым материалом и его первичная тренировка

Метод обучения: частично-поисковый, объяснительно-иллюстративный, репродуктивный.

Оборудование: английский словарь, раздаточный материал (таблицы), компьютер (презентация), мультимедийный проектор.

Ход занятия:

1. Организационный момент. Вступительное слово учителя. (5 минут)

Good morning, students! How are you? Let's begin our period.

What is the weather like today?

Do you like the weather?

2. Изучение нового материала (50 минут).

Рассказ учителя с элементами беседы.

Students, how do you think what is one of the most important achievement of technical progress today? Could you imagine life without cars? Why or why not? What is the alternative?

Today our world is full of action. We have to move from place to place: work, travelling, business, service. Automobiles are the part of our life. Are you agree? Do you know which countries are leaders in this field? Look at screen! (Слайд 2) Today we shall speak about machinery and leading automobile concerns!

Passenger car- легковой автомобиль

Pickup- модификация легкового автомобиля и внедорожника, лёгкий коммерческий автомобиль с открытой грузовой платформой

Tractor unit-тягач, самоходная безрельсовая наземная транспортная машина для буксировки прицепов и полуприцепов, несамоходных машин (строительных, сельскохозяйственных), арт- и ракетных систем.

Truck-грузовик

Van- фургон, тип закрытого автомобильного кузова, предназначенный для перевозки грузов или людей.
