Конспект урока в 6 классе по английскому языку школ с углубленным изучением по УМК Верещагиной О.В. и Михеевой И.В.

Тема: England

Цели урока:

• активизация лексики по теме England;

• развитие навыков диалогической речи;

совершенствование навыков аудирования и чтения.

Оборудование: карта Великобритании.

Ход урока

1. Орг. часть и приветствие.

2. Речевая разминка

3. Speaking about the day, weather, etc.

4. Сообщение цели урока

T: Do you like holidays and travelling? I'm sure you do. Today we are going to listen to people talking about a holiday. Then you will study the map of England to prepare for a journey. At the end of the lesson you will learn a new quotation.

5. Тренировка в аудировании диалога (упр. 20, с. 108)

Т: Before listening I'd like to ask you some questions.

вопросы о Шотландии.

Т: Where is Scotland situated?

P: Scotland is situated to the north of England.

T: What is its capital?

P: Edinburgh.

T: What is the symbol of Scotland?

P: The symbol of Scotland is a thistle.

T: What is Scotland famous for?

P: It is famous for bagpipes and tartans.

T: Now listen to Mr. Adams and his children. They are talking about Scotland. Say way Mr. Adams loves Scotland.

Ученики слушают диалог и отвечают на вопрос.

Р: Mr. Adams loves Scotland because it's his birthplace.

6. Тренировка в чтении диалога

Т: That's right. Open your books, page 108, and read the dialogue «А Holiday in Scotland». Find and read out the sentences with new words, please.

Ученики находят и читают вслух предложения со словами из упр. 14 и 15.

Т: Well, I want to ask you some more questions.

Ученики читают диалог про себя и отвечают на вопросы учителя.

Т: Where in Scotland was Mr. Adams born?

P: He was born in the Highland of Scotland.

T: Who was in Scotland last summer?

P: Duncan's friend was.

T: Did he like Scotland?

P: Yes, he liked it very much.

T: Who told Liz about Scotland?

P: Miss Hunter, the Geography teacher did.

T: Who wrote about Scotland?

P: Robert Bums, the famous poet, did.

T: Now read the dialogue after the speaker, please. Mind the stresses and intonation.

Ученики читают диалоги хором за диктором.

Т: Alright then, divide into groups of three and read the dialogue and I'll come round and listen.

Ученики делятся на группы по три человека и читают диалог. Обратить внимание детей на правильное интонационное оформление диалогов.

7. Развитие умения продолжить диалог

Т: You see that at the end of the dialogue Liz asked a lot of questions. I'd like you to answer the questions and continue the dialogue.

Ученики продолжают работать в группах из трех человек. Вопросы в конце диалога можно распределить между двумя учениками.

Примерное продолжение диалога:

Liz: When are we going to Scotland, Daddy?

Mr. Adams: I think we can go there next week.

Duncan: Where are we going to stay? In a hotel?

Mr. Adams: No, we'll stay with my friends because they invited us.

Liz: How are we going to get there?

Mr. Duncan: We're going to get there by plane. It's faster than by the train.

Duncan: Shall I take my skis? Is there any snow?

Mr. Adams: I think you can take your skies because there's snow in the mountains.

Liz: Oh, Dad, it's so exciting!

Ученики читают вслух продолжение диалога.

Т: At home you will learn your parts in the dialogue by heart.

8. Тренировка в чтении географических названий (упр. 21, с. 109) На доске карта Великобритании.

Т: Look at the map of Great Britain, please. Y ou can see many names on it. First of all, let's learn how to read them. Find ex. 21 in your textbooks. Listen and repeat the words after the speaker.

Ученики хором читают названия за диктором (II2135).

Т: Read the words to each other, please.

Ученики читают слова друг другу в парах.

Т: Read the words again, one by one.

Ученики читают слова вслух по очереди.

Т: Look at the maps on pages 110 and 111. Work in pairs and find all the places.

Ученики работают в парах по картам в учебнике на с. 110-111.

Т: Let's find all the places on the big map. Find and point to the Irish Sea (Wales, Edinburgh, etc), please.

Ученики по очереди выходят к доске и показывают соответствующие географические объекты на большой карте Великобритании. Ученики могут сами давать друг другу задание показать тот или иной объект на карте.

9. Ознакомление с афоризмом (Today's Quotation с. 109)

Т: At the end of the lesson I'd like you to learn a new quotation. Open your books, page 109. Read the quotation, please.

Ученики читают афоризм вслух и переводят его Рим был построен не за один день.

Т: Can you give me the Russian equivalent for this quote?

P: Москва не сразу строилась.

выяснить мнения учащихся по поводу данного высказывания и обсудить его.

10. Итоги урока

Т: Our lesson is coming to the end. Do you remember your home task? Cl: The home task is to learn the dialogue by heart.

T: Then you are to complete the interview with a famous explorer using the correct verb forms. It's ex. 33, page 115.
