Our Free Time (свободное время)

Цель урока: развитие коммуникативной компетенции учащихся на основе изученных лексических единиц, речевых и грамматических структур по теме "Свободное время".

Задачи урока

Познавательный аспект:

- знакомство с популярными способами проведения досуга в англоговорящих странах;

Развивающий аспект:

- формирование и развитие учебно-организационных умений и навыков (взаимоконтроль, навыки самостоятельной работы, групповой работы).

Воспитательный аспект:

- акцентирование внимания учащихся на способах проведения досуга;

- создание ситуаций успеха и самореализации личности в различных видах деятельности.

Учебный аспект:

- введение нового лексического материала (to be keen on, to be interested in, to be crazy about, to be bored with) и отработка его употребления в речи;

- формирование лексических навыков говорения по теме "Свободное время";

- совершенствование навыков чтения и аудирования с различной стратегией.

Оборудование урока

Мультимедийный проектор, экран, презентация (PowerPoint) (приложение 1 )картинки по теме, зашифрованная пословица, листочки с кодом для расшифровки пословицы.

Организационный момент.

Teacher (T): Good morning, boys and girls! Glad to see you again. Good morning, dear guests! Welcome to our lesson.

Pupils (P): Good morning, teacher! We are glad to see you too.

Сообщение целей урока, тема урока.

T: Guess the theme of our lesson? Уou have a rebus.Еvery number corresponds to the letter of the English alphabet. I think you can guess what we will speak about today, can't you?

P: I think we'll speak about our hobbies , favourite activities.

Фонетическая зарядка.

T: You are right. We'll also read about famous man's hobbies and try to write about our hobby. But first of all let's warm up! Let's pronounce the words you will need this lesson.

Say after me:

[a:] - gardening, dancing, basketball, pastime

[˄] - club, rugby, hunting, jumping, running

[o:] - horse riding, sport, drawing, walk

[o] - jogging, fond, hobby, popular, watching

Речевая зарядка.

T: They say tastes differ. Different people have different habits. Look at the pictures and say how you would spend your free time.

T: Tastes really differ.Different people spend their free time differently. Let's see what the most popular pastime activities are. Look at the screen, match the words and make up word combinations. Then write the answers. Use the model.

Презентация новых лексических единиц

T: They say that the busiest men find the most leisure. Look at the screen. You can see a man there. He is very famous. Do you know him? Who is he?

P1: He is Bill Gates.

T: What is he?

P2: He is a computer wizard.

T: Would you like to know about his favourite pastime activities? Then read the text and write out 5 word combinations which mean "увлекается".

Bill Gates is a very busy man. But he likes doing a lot of things. First, he is keen on traveling. Second, he is interested in playing golf and discussing the latest news in computing. Then, he is crazy about flying a delta plane and he is fond of extreme sports. He is never bored with riding a snowboard.

Учащиеся работают самостоятельно, затем читают выписанные выражения вслух.

Первичное закрепление НЛЕ.

1) Восприятие - имитация.

T: Now answer my questions.

2) T: Look at the pictures and meet an American people. Say how they spend their free time.

Релаксация.

T: Now it's time to have a rest. Stand up!

3) (a) T: Now it's time to speak about you, children. Tell your friends about your hobbies and pastimes. Make notes. Use the model.

(b) T: Change partners, please. Tell your new partner about your second partner.

4) Чтение и корректировка текста.

T: Children, I have a surprise for you. Meet Vicky and Ken. They are editors of an interesting Internet-magazine which is called "In-Touch". I have their e-mail letter, but something is wrong with it. Read and correct it, please.

Hi!

We are very kene on learning about you. We are fdno of any information about your school, friends, families and hobbies. Please write to us! We are inrtetesed in everything about you! We'll never berod with your e-mails and letters.

Учащиеся читают электронное письмо редакторов Интернет-журнала "In-Touch" и исправляют ошибки. Выполнив корректировку электронного письма, учащиеся могут сами предложить написать ответ.

Домашнее задание.

T: I have an e-mail address of the magazine. You can write a letter to "In-Touch Magazine". Do it at home, please. Now let's see what you can write.

Дается опора для неуверенных учеников.

Подведение итогов урока.

T: Подвести итоги нашего урока я хочу с помощью пословицы. Разгадайте ее с помощью таблицы,. The keys are on the labels. (приложение 4)

Учащиеся получают колокольчики с этикетками, на которых ключи к дешифровке надписи. Каждый вписывает свою букву, получается английская пословица:

Our best friend is our hobby.

T: Find the Russian equivalent.

Учащиеся выбирают русский эквивалент английской пословицы из следующих вариантов:

На вкус и цвет товарища нет.
Люби хобби - мастером будешь.
Хобби - наш лучший друг.

T: Very good children! Now it's time to sum up. Did you like our lesson? Say, what you've learnt and how you've worked.

Учащиеся сообщают, что они узнали на уроке, и дают оценку своей деятельности.
