План урока: Unusual sports

Цель:

Социокультурный аспект - знакомство с экстремальными видами спорта

Развивающий аспект - развивать умение соотносить рисунок и текст, отвечать на вопросы, увеличение объёма оперативного запоминания путём постепенного увеличения речевых единиц на аудитивной и зрительной основе.

Воспитательный аспект - Воспитание толерантного отношения к спорту.

Учебный аспект - формирование навыков разговорной речи, монологического высказывания на основе прочитанного, находить нужную информацию в тексте, выделять главное.

Ход урока:

I. Орг. Момент

- Greeting.

- Today we'll continue the topic "Be a good sport". The theme of our lesson is "Unusual sports". (слайд № 1) We'll know new kinds of sport, read the texts and answer the questions.

Let's read the words which we need at our lesson. (слайд № 2)

III. Проверка д.з.

At home you must read about unusual sports. What are they? (ex.1 p. )
How do you think these sports are dangerous? (Yes, they are)
These sports are unusual and dangerous. How can we name them with the help of other words? (Extreme sports)

IV. Просмотровое чтение

Now we'll know other extreme sports. (слайды 3-9)

V. Изучающее чтение

- Task 1. Read about extreme or dangerous sports again. Think and say. Give reasons for your answer.

- Can we consider these activities to be sports?

- Which of them do you think is most enjoyable?

- Which of them do you think is most difficult to learn?

- Which of these sports are often shown on television?

- Do you think any of these sports are suitable for women?

- Which of these extreme sports would you most and least like to do?

- What is the reason for the changing nature of modern sports?
