Aims: To teach students to use functional language (expressing opinion, agreeing/disagreeing, to develop socio-cultural competence).

Lesson objectives: By the end of the lesson the students will be able to speak aboutthe differences between Great Britain and the UK.

Final task: Tomorrow you will take part in a radio programme "How to understand the difference between the UK and Great Britain". Your task is to prepare a report on this topic.

Anticipated problems: problems with Internet, difficulty with understanding of the text for listening.

Activity 1. Watch the film and guess the topic of our lesson.
