The theme :Mountains
Planning of learning aims , objectives and tasks.
The objectives :to talk about mountains, winter sports.
The aim of the lesson: to develop writing, speaking, listening abilities. To develop pupils' critical thinking, imagination, creativeness. Presentation of posters.
Educational goals: to teach pupils to honour their Motherland, to love Nature.
Visual aids: video material, text-books ,the active board, pictures, dictionaries, google.com.
Kind of lesson: Lesson-combination.
Method of working: group work, work with new technologies, explanation, discussion,association method

Organisation moment. Greatings.

Warm-up. Complete the sentences. If I were a bird…
If I could win the lottery next week…
If aliens landed on the Earth…
If I were the richest person in the world…
3.Speech drill. What are the highest mountains in the world? Have you ever been to the mountains? What kind of leisure activities can people do in mountain areas? Are winter sports popular in Kazakhstan? Which ones? Which winter sports would you like to do?
4.It's time to check the home-task .Pupils must explain the words: alpine skiing,cross-country skiing,extreme skiing, freestyle skiing, ice-skating, ski jumping, snow boarding.
5.Teacher divides pupils on 2 groups using geometrical figures of blue and green colours. After forming groups of 6-7 pupils, teacher explain the task. With the help of video, text-books, computer, pictures each group must prepare material about mountains and winter sports. Basic material is in exercises 2,4 .
CREATIVITY .Pupils work together getting additional information in computers or note-books, books.
PRESENTATION .Every team goes to the blackboard and demonstrate their poster.
CUMULATIVE TALK. Each group presents own material created by all group. Ideas may be the same.
Using method of Jigsow pupils create their posters helping each other.
CRITERIA ASSESSMENT. Pupils give marks to each other expressing their attitude to everyone.
EVALUATION.Teacher analyses the Lesson using "thick' or " thin' questions. The representatives of each group assessment opposite group.
Home-task. Project work "Mountains"
REFLECTION. Teacher suggests to pupils to dance.
