Different people like doing different things. Different people have different hobbies. A hobby is something you like to do very much in your free time such as making models, gardening or travelling.

Many people are fond of collecting things. Some people have very good collections of coins, badges and stamps. Others collect toys, dolls, cups and so on. Collecting is easy and interesting. It is popular with people of all ages. You can learn many interesting facts about history, famous people, different countries and nature. Sometimes people specialize in one theme, so their collections are called thematic.

Many people are theatre-goers. We can see wonderful performances on stage and we can hear beautiful music. If the performance is a success, the audience rises and there is a storm of applause. You can also see a ballet or an opera in a theatre.
