Внеклассное мероприятие «Thanksgiving Day»

Оборудование: карта Америки и Англии, 2 кораблика с флажками, компьютерная презентация, оборудование

Оформление: ВЫСТАВКА учащихся по теме внеклассного мероприятия (поделки, рисунки: кукуруза, индюшка, тыква, корабль, индейцы, пилигриммы)

Условия игры: 2 команды «Пилигриммы»(капитан: Анна Л.), «Индейцы» ( капитан: Чолпонай А.), 2 команды родителей.

I этап игры - «Путешествие в прошлое» (карта Северной Америки, 2 корабля. Условие игры: побеждает, та команда, чей корабль быстрее доберется до берегов Северной Америки.

II этап игры - викторина для детей и родителей «Готовимся к путешествию за границу». Условие игры: правильный ответ - 100 traveller (легкий вопрос), средней сложности вопрос - 500 traveller, трудный вопрос - 1000 traveller.

Цель игры: обобщить пройденный материал.

Ход урока:

Teacher.: Dear children! How are you? Are you ready to start our game?

During the first part of our lesson we are going to talk about the most important American holiday. This is Thanksgiving Day (слайд 1).And then your parents will do the Russian quiz around Britain and other countries. Our lesson will be in the form of the competition. We have 2 teams today " Pilgrims" and their captain is Anya L. (команда встает) and the second team is "Indians" where Cholponai is the captain (встают). I have 2 helpers today: Ivanov D., Vasyuhin A. They are 9-formers.

There is the exhibition here which is devoted to Thanksgiving Day.

You can see a map of North America and two your ships. Which team will reach America quicker today? Be very attentive and polite, please.

II. Assistant 1: Thank you for the world so sweet, (слайд 2)

Thank you, God, for everything.

Teacher. : The first competition for "Indians" and "Pilgrims" is "Name the Thanksgiving Day words". (слайд 3). The main aim is to remember the words.

Условие игры: по 3 человека с каждой команды выстраиваются в одну линию, чтобы сделать шаг вперед - необходимо кому-то из данной команды назвать по-английски слово, связанное с Днем Благодарения, шаг вперед делают все три человека из команды. Старайтесь, чтобы каждый из данной команды называл слова и слушайте друг друга внимательно, чтобы не повторять слова. Та, команда, которая быстрее дойдет до финиша и является победителем. Captains, choose your 3 players. (называют слова, кораблик команды победительницы передвигается на 1 морскую милю (шаг) вперед. The winner is…………..).

Teacher: READING COMPETITION : 6 человек из команды читают по одному предложению. Какая команда допустит меньше ошибок при чтении? Та и продвинется на 2 мили вперед, вторая команда - 1 миля. (на доске отмечаю каждую ошибку " I" , команды читают по очереди. (cлайд 7 остается)

За правильный ответ получаете денежную единицу «Traveller" (легкий вопрос - 100, средней сложности - 500, трудный вопрос стоит - 1000 travellers.). Если родители не могут ответить на вопрос, то отвечает команда детей.
