Сценарий праздника на английском языке

«Meeting an American Friend»

(«Встреча с американским другом»)

(для 5-6 классов)

Оформление: рисунки с изображением карты и флага США, плакаты, посвященные праздникам, изображение ковбоя, индейца, надпись welcome, музыка.

Ход вечера

Ведущий:

Сегодня к нам в гости пришел настоящий американец. И вы можете спросить у него все, что вас интересует. Он ответит на все интересующие вас вопросы. Но сначала вы должны угадать его имя. Вы видите несколько английских имен (на доске висит плакат с именами) и, задавая вопросы, мы узнаем имя нашего гостя. Например: «Is your name Jack?» Кто угадает первым, тот получит право задать первый вопрос.

(Дети угадывают).

Сейчас мы объявим конкурс на самого активного участника нашей конференции и попросим Чипа выделить лучшего и вручить ему приз. (Дети задают вопросы).

What is your favourite sport?(music, book, film).

Have you got a pet?

Have you got a sister or a brother?

(father, mother, grandparents)

Was is your favourite food?

Do you like our (your) country?

What are your favourite school subjects?

What are your favourite teachers?

(и многие другие вопросы)

Гость отвечает на вопросы детей и по итогам конкурса выделяет победителя.

Гость выражает свое отношение и вручает приз.

Ведущий:

А теперь мы хотели бы показать гостю наши знания английского языка и рассказать то, что мы знаем о его стране.

(На доске висят рисунки с изображением карты и флага США, ковбоя и индейца).

Ведущий:

Наши дети знают, что обозначает флаг США.

Участник 1:

The U.S. flag is nicknamed the Stars and Stripes/ They stand for the 13 states that formed the United States long ago. There are also 50 stars, one for each state there is now.

Ведущий:

И, конечно, они могут сказать несколько слов об Америке.

Участник 2:

The USA is a big country. It is the 4^th largest country in the world. It is a very rich country. 50states make up the country. There are 250 million people of many races live in the USA. Washington is the capital city. The USA is a republic with an elected President.

Ведущий:

А также о штате, где живет наш гость.

Участник 3:

Ohio was founded in 1803. The capital is Columbus. It is a big industrial centre. There is a lot of coal and water in it.

Ведущий:

Кто знает, кто открыл Америку?

Участник 4:

Christopher Columbus was born in 1451 in Italy. There were 5 children in his family and he was the eldest. He started his travels by ship at 19 years old. He married Dona Felipa a fine woman and he had a son.

Участник 5:

On the 13^th October Columbus saw a New World. The name of his ship was Santa Maria. He made 4 trips to the New World.

А сейчас мы расскажем Чипу о нашем родном городе.

Участник 7:

Our city is big. It was founded in 1723. Ekaterinburg has a lot of plants, shops and theatres. I love my beautiful city ( Можно расширить рассказ).

Ведущий:

Но наши дети еще и увлекаются чтением книг на английском языке. Cейчас дети покажут сценку из всеми любимого произведения Марка Твена «Том Сойер».

Ведущий: Также мы знаем праздники, которые отмечаются в США. И мы стараемся придерживаться традиций и отмечать их.

(Дети читают стихи, посвященные праздникам).
