The theme of the lesson: "London"
The aims of the lesson:
-
Knowledge aim: a)to study the capital of the UK.
b)It's political, economic and culture conditions,
c) to enrich pupils vocabulary.
II. Development aim: to develop pupils speaking habits and self working skills
III. Upbringing aim: to educate pupils to love the beauty of London and be
proud of beauty of their native town and care for their
nature.

Theacher: I am very glad to see you at our lesson, because we have an usual lesson.We have excursion lesson. I think you`ll engoy it. Before studing the new theme let`s check up the home task.

Pupil-1: Buckingham Palace
This is the most famous place in London. It is the home of the Queen. There are 600 rooms in it. It has an indoor swimming pool and a cinema.
Pupil-2:Trafalgar square
Is the most popular place far people to meet. In the middle of the square there is Nelson's Column, which is 51 m high
Pupil-3:Big Ben
The bell which strikes the hours in the Clock Tower of the Houses of Parliament in London. It was made in 1858 and was named after Benjamin Hall.
Pupil-4:The London Eye
Is the biggest wheel in Britain. Its highest point is 135 m. It was opened on 1 February 2000.
Pupil-5:The Thames
The river Thames is the deepest and most beautiful river in Britain.
A river (346 km long) rising in South England, and flowing east to the North Sea, navigable ['nævigəbl] by large ships up to London.
Pupil-6:Hyde Park
Is the most famous park in London. Londoners walk and jog in the park, eat sandwiches, talk, sunbathe, read books and enjoy music.
Pupil-7:The Tower of London
Is a very big castle. It is the oldest place in London. It was a castle, a palace, a zoo, a prison, and a museum.
Pupil-8:Westminster Abbey

the ancient large church in London in which the coronation ceremony of almost all the English kings and queens has taken place .
Many famous people are buried there.
Pupil-1:Red double - decker buses, one of the most familiar symbols of London.
The flag of G.B. is "Union Jack". It has three colors: red, blue and white.
London bridge it's two thousand years old the first bridge was wooden. The people built a bridge of stone. There were houses and shops on it. In 1973 new London Bridge was opened look at the picture .
