What are the other big cities?

What parts does Britain consist of?

Students mark the parts of Great Britain on the maps by colouring them in different colours.

Each part of the country has got its Saint patron, as for instance St. Patrick the patron of Ireland (teacher shows the slides and names the patrons of England - St. George and Scotland - St. Andrew)

7. Colouring the students' flags.

Teacher exposes the pictures of flags with the Saints' crosses on them - St. George's, St. Andrew's, St. Patrick's and asks the students to colour their flags to match them with the Union Jack.
