Тема урока «Искусство» (обобщающий урок)

Цели урока:

1. Развитие коммуникативных навыков

2.Развитие навыков аудирования, обсуждение прослушанного.

3Развитие навыков работы в парах.

4.Развитие навыков умения отстаивать и высказать своё мнение.

5. Развитие монологической и диалогической речи по теме.

Задачи урока:

1. Образовательные цели:

• Соверщенствование навыков аудирования

• Совершенствование навыков чтения

• Совершентсвование умения монологической речи, диалогической речи по теме «Art»

2 Развивающие цели-

• Развивать осмысленное восприятие на слух и изложение своего мнения(коммуникативных навыков),навыков умения использования и применения ИКТ( презентации,видеоролики), исследовательские навыки ( поиск информации и извлечение главной)

• Развитие творческих способностей учащихся.

• Овладение системой знаний об иноязычной культуре

• Развитие интеллектуальной, речемыслительной, эмоциональной, деятельностной и мотивационной сфер личности обучающихся.

• Формирование языковой способности формулирования мысли на английском языке.

3 Воспитательные-

• Воспитывать у учащихся умение сотрудничать, уважать свою и зарубежную культуру, воспитывать терпимое отношение к иному мнению в группах сотрудничества, воспитывать интерес к изучению английского языка средствами коммуникации, ИКТ.

1. Teacher: We can't imagine our life without arts. We really enjoy everything

that is beautiful. We are fond of painting, music, theatre. Today we shall speak about wonderful arts.

2. Teacher: First of all we'll talk about one of the most amazing art. It is cinema. We know many kinds of films: from comedy to thriller.

Now I want you to match the definitions with the types of films.

Western cartoon an action film comedy an adventure film

A thriller a musical a horror film

1. Also called an animated film. It is made by photographing drawings rather then using live actors.

2. In this type of film, excitement is generated from action sequences.

3. A film dealing with life in the western part of the USA in the times of the wars with Red Indians or one with cowboy rustles, sheriffs.

4. A film, where the main aim is to terrify the audience.

5. A very dramatic film where tension is maintained and is the central feature of the plot.

6. The characters of this film get involved in exciting and dangerous events.

7. A funny film which sets out to make the audience laugh.

8. An amusing film full of songs and dancing.

3. T. Tastes are different. Some of people like musicals, the other prefer thrillers

Let's interview your friends to find out their preferences.

4. T. Your homework was to describe the plot of the film. Now guess the film your friend has seen recently. (По описанию фильма учащиеся стараются отгадать его название. Опрос домашнего задания).

5. T. There are many great actors in our country and abroad. Read the texts and say the name of actors and actresses. Ex.63, p.211-212

6. T. Look at the picture. What kind of painting does it belong to? You are right.

It belongs to the brush of a famous Japanese painter Hokusai. I think you know nothing about this painting, read the text and choose the right prepositions.

2. What did he produce?

3. What can you say about Hokusai's manner of printing?

8. T. Do you like to listen to music? I am sure, you do. Music can change our life. When we are in a good mood, we listen to merry songs, but when we are sad, we prefer blues or lyrical songs.

T. Listen to the song "Thank you for the music". Choose the right words

And answer the questions:

1. What is the song about?

2. Is it serious or light, lyrical or humorous?

3. What story does it tell us?

THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC.

I m nothing special, in fact, I m a bit of a bore/ dull/

If I tell a joke/story, you are probably heard it before.

But I have a talent/ gift , a wonderful thing,

Cause everyone listens when I start to sing/dance

I' m so grateful / thankful and proud.

All I want is to sing it out loud/quiet/

So I say/tell you

Thank you for the music, the songs/poems I singing Thanks for all the joy/happiness they are bringing.

Who can live/die without it, I ask in all honesty?

What/When life be?

Without a song or a dance/music what are we?

So I say thank you for the music

or giving/brining it to me.

Mother/father says I was a dancer before I could talk/walk.

She says I begin to sing long before I could talk/lock.

And I've often wondered, how did it all begin/start?

Who found out nothing can capture a head/heart?

Like a melody can?

Well, who ever it was, I m a fan/man.

I've been so lucky; I am the girl with golden fair/hair.

I wanna sing it out to everybody/somebody.

What a joy, what a life, what a chance.

Reading

The Ukiyo-e was a school of printing in |at Japan during the eighteenth century. The prints show landscapes or scenes from everyday Japanese life. This prints influenced Western artists like Degas and Van Gogh.

Hokusai (1760-1849) was a well-known artist in |of the Ukiyo-e school. He produced Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji. One print of this series, "The Breaking Wave off Kanagawa", shows a huge wave above| under a fishing boat.

The wave is moving across |above the picture, showing the power of the storm at sea. Bellow| Under the wave , the men in| on the boat look tiny.

. Behind |Above the waves, in| on the background of the picture, we can see Mount Fuji. Hokusai brilliantly uses dark colours and strong, clear lines in this print.

Task: Find adjectives in the text with the opposite meaning to those bellow.
