5 класс

Цели: Повторить активную лексику, изученный страноведческий материал, закрепить навыки в словообразовании, тренировать задавать различные вопросы.

Участвуют две команды. Жребий помогает выяснить, какая команда начинает первой. Каждая команда придумывает себе название, выбирает капитана, заранее готовит различные вопросы для команды-соперницы на английском языке.

В течение соревнования полезно сделать музыкальную паузу.

В конце встречи ведущий объявляет общий итог и отмечает команду-победительницу.

Возможны следующие задания:

1. Блиц-опрос. (За каждый правильный ответ - 1 балл):

   1. Назвать страны, где говорят по-английски.

Людям каких специальностей необходимо знать английский язык?

2. Как зовут чудовище в шотландском озере?

Какие птицы живут в Тауэре?

3. Когда англичане отмечают Рождество?

Когда англичане отмечают Хэллоуин?

4. Кто автор книги «Алиса в стране чудес?»

Кто автор книги «Робинзон Крузо»?

5. Как называется подросток в возрасте от 13 до 19 лет?

Как называется группа шотландских семей, объединенных родственными связями?

6. Что такое тартан?

Что такое килт?

7. Где проходит коронация британских монархов?

Где расположен камень судьбы?

2. Сказать как можно больше предложений о полученных билетах (они из Англии): какие они, когда и где куплены и т.д. (За каждое верное предложение - 1 балл)

3. Назвать номера телефонов: 33-25-80; 32-06-22; 44-89-01; 65-03-55. (За каждый правильный ответ - 1 балл)

4. Назвать даты: 25 декабря, 7 января, 8 марта, 14 февраля. (За каждый правильный ответ - 1 балл)

5. Разгадать кроссворды (по два на команду). (Время выполнения - 4 минуты; команда, нашедшая больше слов, получает 2 балла)

6. Определить возраст и национальность подружек и заполнить таблицу. (Время выполнения - 4 минуты; за каждый правильный ответ - 1 балл)
