«По страницам любимых произведений»

"Reading English Fairytales"

Медленная музыка. Занавес закрыт.

Под сценой стоит кресло-качалка. Старый сказочник медленно подходит и садится в кресло. К нему подходят дети, обнимают и садятся на пол вокруг него.

Grandpa: Good evening my dears. Why are you awake? It's too late already.

William: We can't sleep without your fairy-tales.

Catherine: Yes, grandpa. We can't.

Tom: What are you going to tell us about today?

Mary: Will it be a scary story? (Испуганно)

Grandpa: No, no. Don't be afraid my sweetheart. Today I will tell you a beautiful but also a very sad story. It's about a nightingale. It's a bird with a divine voice.

Tom: Сan it talk?

Grandpa: No, it can't. But it can sing like no one else. Well… listen. Once upon a time there was a boy who was in love with a beautiful girl…

Начинается сказка О. Уайльда «Соловей и Роза». Дедушка и дети покидают свои места. После окончания сказки, закрывается занавес, а дети с дедушкой уже находятся на своих местах.

William: That was not fair. Why did the nightingale die?

Мери начинает плакать. Том обнимает сестру.

Tom: Don't be scared. Not every fairytale finishes so sadly. There are lots of fairy tales with a happy ending.

William: Yes, Mary. Tom's right, isn't he?

Grandpa: Of course he is. Now listen to me carefully, because I am going to tell you about a girl who was very brave and never stopped dreaming. Once upon a time there was a young girl called Cinderella…

Занавес открывается. Начинается «Золушка». Дети и дедушка незаметно уходят.

Золушка заканчивается. Дети и дедушка уже на своих местах.

Catherine: Oh, grandpa, it was so beautiful…. And her dress… and the prince…

Mary: What about her stepmother and stepsisters? They were horrible.

Grandpa: They stayed alone in their big house and had to do all the work about the house themselves.

Tom: No, the story was boring. I don't like tales about princesses. They are for girls.

Catherine: No, they are not boring!

Том и Катрин начинают драться друг с другом.

Grandpa: Catherine! Tom! Stop it! Oh, I wish you had a nanny like Miss Poppins.

William: Who is Miss Poppins?

Grandpa: Mary Poppins was a nanny for two kids, a boy and a girl.

Mary: Tell us, tell us about her…

Grandpa: All right. Listen… Once upon a time there were naughty children like you, and their parents decided to invite a nurse for help…

Занавес открывается. Начинается «Мери Поппинс».

Дедушка и дети уходят.

«Мери Поппинс» заканчивается. Занавес закрывается. Дети и дедушка возвращаются на свои места.

Tom: Did they see her again?

Grandpa: No, dear. They grew older… oh, come on, cheer up. Now tell me kids, are you afraid of dogs? Let me tell you a story about a mysterious dog.

Занавес открывается, начинается отрывок из произведения «Собака Баскервилей».

Занавес закрывается. Дети и дедушка уже сидят на своих местах. Дети испуганно смотрят на старика.

Grandpa: Ha, ha, ha, don't be scared. That dog did not exist. It was not real.

Mary: I can't sleep after this story, grandpa.

Catherine: Me too.

William: That was not so terrifying. I'm not afraid at all.

Grandpa: Well… the last story for today. It is getting late and you will have to go to bed… ahem… It is a very fascinating story about friendship and love.

Занавес открывается, начинается отрывок из произведения «Бременские музыканты».

После «Бременских музыкантов» все участники выходят на поклон. Дедушка встает в центре и говорит:

Grandpa: I think you have all liked today's stories, haven't you?

Все участники начинают аплодировать.
