Разработка внеклассного мероприятия по английскому языку на тему «Do you knowEnglish well?»

Цели:

• образовательная - формирование навыков использования изученной лексики в речи; способствовать формированию грамматических навыков по теме «Степени сравнения имен прилагательных»

• воспитательная - формирование позитивно- ориентированной личности;

• развивающая - развитие речевых способностей (фонематического слуха, способности к догадке)

Задачи:

1. активизировать речевые навыки на уровне представления информации о животных, еде, праздниках.

2. приобщение к культуре страны изучаемого языка.

3. повышение интереса к изучению иностранного языка

Ход мероприятия:

Good afternoon dear boys and girls! I'm glad to see you at our competition. Dear children! Today we are going to have an interesting competition "Do you know English well?" Two teams will take part in it. Let's greet and wish them good luck! And now let me introduce our judges. They will give marks for every task. Dear, judges, we ask you not to be very critical and forgive our participants the mistakes that they may make. Good luck!

I round. The first round is called "ABC". Your task is to place the words in alphabet order.

№ 1. Name, chair, apple, street, lamp, green, elephant, juice, vegetables, bread, hot, wonderful, plate, apricot

№ 2. Mother, beautiful, fruit, apple, red, ice-cream, door, house, knife, table, crocodile, yellow, small, people

II round. The second task is to say as many words as you know on the theme "School".

III round. The next task is to make up the questions to these sentences.

IV round. The 4^th round is "Grammar". You should write down the comparative and superlative degrees of adjectives:

V round. "The captain's round". Your task is to read the tongue-twister as quick as you can.

VI round is called "Holidays". You should match the names of British holidays with their descriptions.

1) It is on the 14^th of February. People buy or make cards and send them to the people they love.

2) All the children, little or adult ones, come to their mothers on that day to express their love and gratitude.

3) It is on the 31^st of October. On that day people make lanterns out of pumpkins. Some people have parties and dress as witches and ghosts.

4) It is on the 25^th of December. On this day everybody puts the presents under the Christmas tree. The traditional meal is roast turkey and Christmas pudding.

5) In every home there is a tree glittering with coloured lights and decorations. Children always wait for Father Frost to come and give them a present
