План урока английского языка


Цели:
Обучающая: закрепление активной лексики, развитие коммуникативной способности в рамках спортивной тематики, научить учащихся выражать свое отношение к рискованным видам спорта.

Развивающая: развитие навыков чтения и аудирования.

развитие логического мышления, активности, внимания.

Воспитательная: воспитание чувства взаимопомощи.

Оснащение урока: компьютер, доска, магнитофон.

Ход урока:

Оргмомент.

1. Приветствие.

I am glad to see you. So we shall start our English lesson. To begin with, how are you today? Are you OK? Thank you. I am glad to hear that you are all right.

2. Сообщение темы и цели урока. (Слайд с изображением рискованных видов спорта и с названием темы урока).

The theme of our lesson today is sports. We continue speaking about risky sports. The aim of our lesson is to practise the words related to extreme sports, to discuss your attitude towards risky sports. And then you will role-play your dialogue, listen to the text and do some tasks. Clear? OK? Let's go on.

3. Речевая зарядка. (Слайд с изображением рискованных видов спорта).

Will you look at the pictures of different sports?

  1. What do they all have in common?

  2. Why are they dangerous?

  3. Have you ever done any of these sports?

  4. Would you like to try any of them?

4. Фонетическая зарядка. (На слайде написана активная лексика).

Sky diving

Bungee jumping

Pot holing

Rock climbing

White-water rafting

Scuba diving

to acquire self-confidence

to overcome difficulties

to satisfy their curiosity

to protest against something

useless and silly

dangerous

5. Проверка знания слов. (Слайд с изображением рискованных видов спорта и названиями видов спорта).

Now let's make sure that you remember the names of risky sports. Match the pictures and the names of risky sports. Work in pairs, please. Ready? Let's check.

6. Ответы на вопросы. (На слайдах - карта памяти "mind map", т.е. аргументы за и против рискованных видов спорта).

- Why do people go in for risky sports?

- Can you give arguments against risk-taking?

7. Работа в группах по четыре.

Discuss the following questions in groups and be ready to act out your dialogue.

- What risky sports do you know?

- Why do people do risky sports?

- Are you for or against risky sports?

- Can you understand risk-takers?

8. Контроль диалога.

I'd like to listen to your dialogue. Please, role-play your dialogue. Who is the first, the best, the bravest and the cleverest?


Примерный диалог:

A: What risky sports do you know?

B: I know sky diving, scuba diving, bungee jumping, pot holing, rock climbing, white-water rafting.

A: Why do people go in for risky sports? What is your opinion?

B: I think young people do risky sports to satisfy their curiosity, to acquire self-confidence and to protest against something. What do you think?

A: To my mind people do risky sports for the thrill and excitement, to be strong and brave and to overcome difficulties. Are you for or against risky sports?

B: As for me, I am not a risk-taker. I think that risky sports are dangerous and taking risks is useless and silly. Do you agree with me?

A: Yes, I agree with you. By doing risky sports people may be injured and die. Can you understand risk-takers?

B: I try to understand them. Most risk takers are young people and they want to be brave and strong. But I think we mustn't take risks.

A: Yes, you are right.

9. Подведение итогов.

Today we have spoken about risky sports. Do you know arguments for and against risk taking? Are risky sports dangerous? Would you like to try any of them? Did you brush up your English?

10. Домашнее задание: подготовить монологическое высказывание о рискованных видах спорта.
