Word explanation

The students are given new words from the song. They place them face down on the table. Then one by one they take a word and explain it to the partner. If they have problems with the meaning they ask the t. to help.

Set of cards with new words from the song for each pair of students

Word Catch

Students place the cards on the table face up. T. turns on the song. When st-s hear the words they have to catch it and keep it. The one who has more words wins.

The st-s receive the copy of the song with gaps and the set of words to fill in. T. turns on the song. When st-s hear the word they grab it and put on its place.

The st-s are given the lines from the song. When they hear their line they run in the beginning of the row, so the song is in order by the end of the activity.

St-s stand into 2 lines facing each other, forming pairs. Each pair has 1 min to discuss their writing from the warm-up activity. In 1 min the 1^st person from 1 line goes to the end and the whole line moves, so all of the st-s get new partners.
