Целевая установка: ориентация на формирование развития навыков и умений англоязычной речевой деятельности.

Цели урока:

Образовательные:

• Обобщение изученного страноведческого материала по теме «Town Life. London»;

• Развитие навыков монологической речи и речевых умений вести диалог-расспрос;

• Активизация лексики по теме.

• Обучение общению на английском языке.

Развивающие:

• развивать умение сравнивать и обобщать изучаемый материал;

• развивать умение высказать свое мнение на английском языке;

• расширять кругозор учащихся.

Воспитательные:

• воспитывать уважительное отношение к культуре и истории другой страны;

• воспитание цивилизованной личности, культуры общения, чувств и поведения.

Форма урока: урок - путешествие.

Оснащение: Презентация в программе Power Point: « A Trip to London», раздаточные карточки (кроссворд по теме « Лондон» для самоконтроля), компьютер, проектор, экран, доска, учебник.

О Р Г А Н И З А Ц И О Н Н А Я С Т Р У К Т У Р А У Р О К А

ХОД УРОКА:

1. Организационный момент и приветствие.

Teacher: Good morning children! I am glad to see you. I hope you are fine.

2. Объявление цели урока. Речевая разминка.

Teacher: Dear friends, we are going to have an unusual lesson. We have read and spoken much about one of the most beautiful cities of the world - London. We learnt a lot of interesting information about its history and sights. We have some guests who visited London and today we shall have a virtual trip to London. At first you will tell them what you know about this great city and then our guests will share their impressions with us and you will be able to ask them some questions. (слайд 2)

But first, I want to ask you some questions about this city and see what you know about it:

• What is London?

• Where is it situated?

• On what river does London stand?

• What sights of London do you know?

Ученики отвечают на вопросы.

Teacher: That's right. London is the capital of Great Britain. It stands on the river Thames. It consists of three parts: the City of London, the West End and the East End. Ok. Let's see what places we'll visit today. Welcome to London.(слайд 3)

3. Основная часть. Закрепление пройденного материала в речевых упражнениях. Показ слайдов из презентации. Повторение изученной лексики по теме.

Задание перепутанные буквы: Scrambled Letters. (слайды 4-5)

Teacher: Before we continue, let's remember the words we learnt about town life. We have scrambled letters- put them in the right order and you'll know some town objects.

Ученики выполняют задание в тетрадях.

Now you can check the words. Who can read them? Have you made any mistakes? Well done.

4. Тренировка в чтении названий английских достопримечательностей.

Задание найди пару: Match the parts and read them aloud.

Teacher: We go on. Do you know the names of places of interest well? Now we shall see it. Match the parts and read the name of the sight. Who wants to try? You can check it by yourselves. Take your time. (слайды 6-7)

5. Развитие навыков устной речи - монологическое высказывание о любой достопримечательности Лондона.

Teacher: We are going on our trip. Look at the map of London. Find the places of interest you know and say a few words about them. (слайд 8)

Teacher: What is it? That's right. This is the Tower of London. Who can tell us about it? Pupil A, you are welcome. (слайд 9)

Ученик рассказывает о крепости.

Teacher: Who can describe this place? (The Houses of Parliament) (слайд 10)

Ученик рассказывает о здании парламента.

Teacher: I see a tall tower. What is it? What do you know about Big Ben? (слайд 11)

Ученик рассказывает о Биг Бэне.

Teacher: Do you see that wonderful building? Who would like to tell us about it? (Buckingham Palace) (слайд 12)

Ученик рассказывает о Букингемском Дворце.

Teacher: Oh, I see a great church. What is it? Yes, you are right. Will you tell us about Westminster Abbey? (слайд 13)

Ученик рассказывает о Вестминстерском Аббатстве.

Teacher: We are in Trafalgar Square, aren't we? What is it famous for? Can you tell us?

Ученик рассказывает о Трафальгарской площади. (слайд 14)

Teacher: Isn't it another great church? Who built it? It will be interesting to know. Can you tell us about St Paul's Cathedral? (слайд 15)

Ученик рассказывает о Соборе Св. Павла.

6. Физкультминутка (проводит учащийся класса самостоятельно).

Teacher: We have finished our trip. I hope it was interesting. Now it is time to have a rest. Let's do some special exercises. Who can show them to us? Children, you know what to do-repeat the movements after your classmate.

Up, down, up, down

(Поднимаем и опускаем руки)

Which is the way to London Town?

(Шагаем на месте)

Where? Where? (Повороты в стороны)

Up in the air (Смотрим вверх)

Close your еyes

( Закрываем глаза руками)

And you are there. (Разводим руки в стороны)

Ученики выполняют зарядку, повторяя движения за ведущим.

7. Развитие умений вести диалог - расспрос гостя, посетившего Лондон.

Teacher: Thank you. We go on. We have a special guest. This is ……(name). She is a pupil of the 8^th grade. During spring holidays she was in London. N has kindly agreed to answer your questions about this trip. Now you can ask her questions. Who will be the first? P1, you are welcome.

Ученики задают гостье вопросы об ее поездке в Лондон.

(Примерные вопросы: When did you go to London? How did you get there? How long did you stay in London? What was the weather like in London? Did it rain there? Have you visited any other towns in England? What interesting places did you visit in London? Have you been to the Tower of London? Did you visit Buckingham Palace? Did you walk about Trafalgar Square? Is it beautiful in spring? How big is the monument to Admiral Nelson? Have you seen the Queen? Were you in any London's parks? )

Teacher: Many thanks. It was very interesting, children, wasn't it?

8. Рефлексия. Активизации тематической лексики. Задание на решение страноведческого кроссворда.

Teacher: Now, children, let us do a crossword puzzle about London and check how much we know about it. Look at the crossword on the screen. (слайд 16) Meanwhile I am giving you out the cards with this crossword. Read the questions to yourselves and write in the answers. You have a few minutes. You can use your textbooks to find the answers and use your dictionaries. Start, please.

Учитель раздает карточки с кроссвордом, и дети отгадывают его. (Приложение 1)

Teacher: Ok, children, are you ready? Have you guessed the crossword? Please, check it.

Ученики проверяют решение кроссворда на экране проектора. (слайд 17)

9. Итоговый контроль. Выполнение задания на заполнение пропусков.

Teacher: You have done a good job of it! But we continue. Now let us sum up what we have learnt about the capital of Great Britain. Look at the screen and do the following task. Put in the missing words and tell us about your trip to London. (слайды 18-19) I'll give out the cards.

Ученики вставляют в текст пропущенные слова и рассказывают о Лондоне. (Приложение 2)

Teacher: Very well, thank! And to finish our lesson I suggest solving the quiz. You must choose the correct answer. (слайд 20)* (в зависимости от темпа урока это задание может выполняться дополнительно.) Ученики могут писать ответы в тетради, затем проверяют их на экране проектора.

Teacher: I think you have finished. So check the answers. Who has guessed everything? Who has made one mistake?\ two mistakes? (слайд 21)

10. Подведение итогов. Оценки. Объяснение домашнего задания.

Teacher: OK. Our lesson is over. You worked hard today. You spoke much about London, we remembered interesting facts about its places of interest, you practiced asking questions, you refreshed the words and did the crossword and the quiz. Your marks are……I'll put them into your diaries in a minute later.

Thank you for your work. I hope you liked our today's lesson. Was it interesting? What did you like more? What was the most difficult task for you?

Now open your diaries and write down your homework for the next lesson and I'll sign in your diaries. At home you must do ex.4 p.188 - answer the girl's questions about London and read aloud as quickly as possible the words on the topic "Town Life. London" ( p.189 , ex.9)
