- повышение уровня личной мотивации в изучении английского языка;

- формирование уважения и интереса к культуре и народу страны изучаемого языка;

- воспитание интереса к обучению и формирование познавательной активности;

- воспитание умений работать в группах, в парах и самостоятельно;

- воспитание творческой активности учащихся.

Тип урока: Комбинированный урок. Развитие коммуникативных умений чтения. (Когнитивная интерактивная игра)

Оборудование: Компьютер, проектор, экран, иллюстрации, раздаточный материал, атрибуты врача.

Создание языковой атмосферы с целью перевода учащихся на общение на английском языке.

I. Начальный этап урока.

1. Организационный момент.

- Good morning, boys and girls!

- I'm glad to see you.

- Today we are having an unusual lesson. We have a lot of guests. I expect you to work excellent. Have a good mood! During the lessons you will get stickers. At the end of the lesson we will count them. Try to get more stickers.

Before we start let's make a circle and ask questions to each other what you did yesterday.

• Did you invite guests yesterday?

• Did you sing songs yesterday? etc.

Now I know what you did yesterday. I hope you learnt your English words yesterday.

2. Фонетическая зарядка.

Take your place. We are having a lot of work to do. First of all let's train our tongues. We will work with two sounds. Underline the sounds.

Работа в группах. Учащимся предлагается выбрать слова со звуками: 1-ая команда - [t] , 2-ая - [d], 3-я - [t] и [d] Учащиеся получают карточки индивидуально. Нужные слова подчеркиваются.

Во время ответов команд, остальные учащиеся записывают слова в тетрадь.

Можно проговорить несколько скороговорок для закрепления (слайд 3).

С этой целью учащимся предлагается для разучивания стихотворение.

After our exercises it is easy to you to learn a poem. Say after me. (слайды 4 - 9)

Many years ago the Pilgrims came.
They sailed on a ship - the Mayflower was its name.
They sailed across the Atlantic blue,
So they could worship the way they wanted to.
Учащиеся проговаривают стихотворение за учителем хором, индивидуально, с пропущенными строками и т.д.

Для более сильных детей дополнительно предлагается собрать поговорку и сделать перевод на русский язык (слайд 10).

Thanksgiving is a time of year for family to gather and Holiday cheer.

So, what are we going to talk about?

Учащиеся с легкостью отвечают: «Holidays», «Thanksgiving Day» etc.

Today we are going to talk about a very important holiday in the USA. I asked some students to prepare very short reports about the history of this holiday. Далее, чтобы подчеркнуть важность предложенной темы, учащиеся коротко рассказывают несколько фактов об истории Дня Благодарения в рамках опережающего обучения.

Why people went to America.

Who was on board the Mayflower?

What the life was in America like.

When they had a harvest.

How they celebrated it.

Учитель добавляет, что в течение урока учащиеся должны подготовить Thanksgiving cards с пожеланиями. Задания выполняется в группах.

На этом этапе лидеры команд уже готовы показать свои поздравительные открытки. Они идут к доске и вывешивают плакаты.

Учащимся предлагается для прослушивания песня «Thanksgiving Day Song».

Задача - услышать и вставить пропущенные слова. Работа в командах (обсуждение)

После взаимопроверки учащиеся исполняют песню под музыку.

Для контроля сформированности навыков чтения предлагается тест «Thanksgiving Day» - индивидуальная работа, за правильные и быстрые ответы ученики получают карточки (слайд 27)
