Сценарий викторины на неделе иностранных языков

Тема: Hobby

Цели:

- контроль условения лексики по данной теме

- обучение устной речи

- развитие лингвистической догадки

- развитие логического мышления

- развитие памяти

- всестороннее развитие личности

- стимулирование учебного процесса

Занятие проводится в форме викторины. Учащиеся делятся на две комнады, часть учащихся выступают в качестве жюри, два самых способных учащихся -ведущие. Все задания выполняются в конкурсной форме. Занятие состоит из четырёх основных этапов "Definition", "Puzzle", "The Magic Bag", "Conversation".

Подготовительная работа:

1. Подготовить ведущих.

2. Подготовить раздаточный материал для заданий.

ХОД МЕРОПРИЯТИЯ

Ведущий 1: Good afternoon everybody. Dear guests, teachers and pupils. We are glad to see you. Today we are going to have a competition. And our theme is "Hobby". Let's make two teams. I have yellow and green cards. Close your eyes and choose one of them.

(учащиеся неглядя выбирают карточку с цветом, в зависимости от цвета он попадает в жёлтую или зелёную команду.)

Ведущий 2: Now those who have yellow cards - you are in the 1^st team. Those who have green - in the 2^nd. Please choose your captains and give names to your teams.

(Учащиеся выбирают капитана и дают название своей команде)

Let's begin.

The first task is to give a definition of a word HOBBY. We will give a sentence to each team but the words are mixed. Your task is to put the words in a right order. The team which will make it faster wins.

(учитель или помощник раздаёт каждой команде по набору слов, из которых команды составляют предложение о хобби. Когда предложение составлено, капитан зачитывает свой вариант. Если ответ верный, команде засчитывается 5 очков. За каждую сделанную ошибку минус один балл. Второй по скорости команде те же очки, но на одно меньше)

Ведущий 1: Well, hobby is something you like to do in your free time. Something you are interested in. Do you have hobby? Start your answer with "I like…"

Учащиеся рассказывают о своих увлечениях. Если предложение верно, засчитывается одни балл. Если допущены ошибки, балл не засчитывается.

Ведущий 2: You have already mentioned some types of hobby. And now I offer you to do a puzzle. I will read you words and your task is to guess what I am talking about. Let's try football, basketball, tennis, running. The answer is SPORTS.

На доску вывешивается то количество букв, которое соответствует загаданному слову. Команда, которая первая отвечает и отвечает верно, получает 5 баллов. Если ответ неверный, то право ответить у второй команды и при верном ответе 3 балла. Если никто не угадывает, то баллы не засчитываются никому.

Ведущий 1: Very good. The next task is called "The Magic Bag". Look at the blackboard. There are six sectors. And I have a magic bag with different words connecting with the word HOBBY. each member of your team comes to me, takes a word from the bag, reads the word written in it and decides what sector it belongs to.

Ведущий 2: So, you are good. The next task is conversation is called "Conversation". I put a table on the blackboard. There are some phrases in this table also connecting with our today's topic. Your speech should begin with one of these phrases. And after that your partner from another team will answer also using one of these phrases. If your sentence is right you get 1 point, but if wrong you don't get the point. And if you are not tactful and interrupt the partner you lose one point.

(Учащиеся по очереди из каждой команды встают и начинают предложение по одной из фраз, вывешенных на доске. Данный этап проходит в виде дискуссии, если какой-либо участник затрудняется продолжать, ход переходит к другому участнику.)

Ведущий 1: So, you have discussed some questions about hobby and we have listened to your opinions. And now it is the last task for your teams. You see some kinds of hobby in Great Britain. Your task is not only to guess which is the most popular but also to guess how much people do them.

(Задание заключается в том, чтобы не только угадать самый популярный вид хобби, но и определить процент людей, которые увлекаются этими видами. За каждый угаданный процент команда получает по одному баллу)
