They are located on the third floor. There is a cloak room on the ground floor. Our school has a library. We go to the library because we like reading. If you look around the library hall you will see portraits of famous writers. Students of our school like to go to gym because they like to run and jump and play sports games. The class forms for the secondary forms are located on the second and fourth floor. Our school has got computers rooms. We learn English because this language is widespread. We read, translate, do ex, speak upon different topics.

- We learn a lot of subjects at school. What is your favorite subject? And explain why?

- You are good students and I hope that you never behave like a student from the song…..

My Bonny

My teacher is at the table,

And my thoughts are over the sea,

We are doing just what we are able.

Oh! Bring back my brains to me!

Bring back, bring back,

Bring back my brains to me, to me.

Last lesson I slept on my chair,

Last lesson I slept all along,

Last lesson I slept everywhere

And I dreamed that my teacher had gone.

Sweet dreams, sweet dreams

I hope that my dreams will come true!

The 3d level - "Write English" grammar level

- We are on the next level and I have a question for you "Could you be a teacher?"

I`ll give you shits of paper with written sentences. These sentences are incorrect, they have mistakes. Your task is to correct the mistakes. You have only 4 min for this task.

  5. My favorite school subject is English so in my ideal school I want like to have the subject every day.

- Did you like to correct anybody`s mistakes? Do you know why? Because you didn`t explain the material to anybody, we, teachers, like to give fives but not to correct your mistakes! Teachers for you are…..? Let`s sing a song about teachers:

This song is for those

Who inspire us today

Who always lend a helping hand

To help show us the way

This song is for those

Who see their students though

The tough times in their lives

For that we say thank you

You have made a difference

You have shaped our minds

You have change the world

One child at a time

You have always been there

In everything you do

I hope that you`re as proud of me

As I am proud of you

This song is for those

Who heard the silent cries

Who stepped in to wipe the tears

From the children's eyes

For those who gave us

A safe place to grow

A place for us to call our home

Forever we will know … that

The 4th level - "Talk English"

Wear school uniform

Be ready for class every day

Keep good discipline

-You said that students must wear school uniform, why?

  • Having a school uniform gives you a school identity [aɪˈdentɪtɪ].

It means that you belong to that particular [pəˈtɪkjulə] school.

  • You don't have to worry about what to wear on a school day.

  • The clothes are usually practical and comfortable to wear.

  • Uniforms can be handed down to other children in the family.

  • With a uniform you don't need many casual clothes. It reduces[rɪˈdju:s] class differences because everyone has to wear the same.

  • Uniform is usually cheaper than everyday dress.

  • Wearing a uniform helps to prepare students for the world of

work, where uniforms are often worn.

  • Schools with uniforms have better educational results.

This is because there is better discipline.

- Let`s sing a song about school rules!

The School Rule Song.

Chorus:

This is an important matter,

How we should behave at school,

We will get along when we obey the rules….

1.

Put your hand up, don`t call out,

Sit up straight and please don`t shout,

We`re leaning, we`re leaning.

Please stop talking all the time,

Don`t go pushing in the line,

We`re leaning, we`re leaning.

Chorus:

The 6th level - "Listen English"

- The sixth level. We will pay attention to educational system of the USA and Kazakhstan.

  • Put the names of the programs in correct order:

elementary school, preschool, kindergarten, day care.

  • Listen to the text and answer the questions:

Which grades does middle school include?

How many years does a child study at high school?

How can we call these years?

  • Let`s listen about Educational System in the USA. Higher School.

Higher Education in the USA.

When a person graduates from high school he or she receives (получать) a high school diploma. In the U.S., it is not mandatory to graduate from high school. The law varies from state to state, but in general a child must attend school until about the age of 16. That`s 10 grade.

After high school, many choose to go to college or university. That`s because many professions require (требовать) a higher education. College and university both have 4 year programs: freshman year, sophomore year, junior year, senior year. When someone finishes college or university, this person can receive bachelor`s degree.

A person can study further and attend graduate school. In graduate school one can pursue a master`s degree.

If one chooses to study even further, the person can receive the highest degree possible. That`s a PhD. PhD stands for doctor of philosophy. When a person holds a PhD we can address this person as a doctor.

  • Let`s listen about Educational System in Kazakhstan.

School education:

Primary education lasts for four years. Secondary education consists in three main educational phases: primary education (forms 1-4), basic general education (forms 5-9) and senior level education (forms 10-11). In our country there are schools of different kinds specialized schools, magnet schools, gymnasiums [dʒɪmˈneɪzjəm], lyceums [laɪˈsɪəm], linguistic and technical gymnasiums.

Higher education:

At present, there are universities, academies [əˈkædəmɪ], and institutes, conservatoires, higher schools and higher colleges. There are three main levels:

basic higher education, leads to the award of the Bachelor degree;

specialized higher education after which students are awarded the Specialist's Diploma;

and scientific-pedagogical higher education which leads to the Master's Degree.
