The theme: My name is…

The aim of the lesson: to teach the children how to ask someone's name and introduce themselves.

Language: Hello! What's your name? My name is… How are you? I'm fine

The aids: key words, video ,pictures, games

I Warm up. A game: Saying any words which they know in English.

II Presentation. Listening.

The children watch and listen to the video (Gogo's adventures with English. Unit1 What's your name?) 2-3 times and follow.

III Practice. Speaking.

Teacher: Hello! How are you? What's your name?

Children: Hello! My name is… I'm fine

Children work in pairs greeting each other then ask and answer the questions.

Example : Hello!

What's your name…

How are you?

III Production. Speaking The children working in pair act out a dialogue.
