Конкурс по Великобритании "Do You Know Britain" для невклассного мероприятия по темам "A Look at British History" and "Sightseeing around London".

Конкурс - интересная форма работы, которая нравится учащимся, увлекает их, повышает интерес к предмету, помогает раскрытию творческих способностей учащихся с разным уровнем подготовки.

Конкурс - "Do You Know Britain" позволяет систематизировать полученные знания, еще раз активизировать их в речи, а также создает непринужденную атмосферу общения на английском языке.

Выполнение учащимися заданий даёт учителю представление о том, как владеют учащиеся материалом об истории Великобритании, её знаменитых людях, её столице.

Такая работа привлекает учащихся, улучшает взаимопонимание между учителем и учениками, позволяет ещё раз закрепить знания, полученные на уроках.









Конкурс 1 "Greetings"

Команды называют себя и приветствуют соперников.

Конкурс 2 Вопросы "Do you remember?" Каждой команде предлагаются по 5 вопросов, на которые следует быстро ответить. Учитываются как количество правильных ответов, так и затраченное время.

  5. What is a double-decker? (a bus)

Когкурс 3 "A Look at the British History" Участникт команд получают карточки с описанием достопримечательностей, которые предлагаются назвать командам.

  1. They keep all the oldest documents of England there. (the Public Record Office)

  2. The oldest official document with detailed information about England. (The Domesday Book)

  3. The first Englishman in Russia. (Richard Chancellor)

  4. The man who odered the Domesday Book. (King William the Conqueror)

  5. The ceremony before the Buckingham Palace. (Changing the Guard)

  6. This ceremony comes in the Tower every night at 10 p.m. (the Ceremony of the Keys)

Конкурс 4 "Famous Peope. Who were They?" Учащиеся по очереди берут карточки, на которых приводится информация о знаьенитых люлях Великобритании. Предлогается назвать их.

Конкурс 5 "Give the name of sightseeing" Участники одной командызадают вопросы участникам другой команды.
