Victory Day is a great holiday in our country. It is celebrated on the 9^th of May. On this day million people celebrate the victory over the German fascists in 1945. We congratulate war veterans who took part in the Great Patriotic War.

We put flowers for heroes who did not live to see victory. On this day we have a holiday parade with a minute of silence in the morning and a holiday salute in the evening.

Many citizens of our town Inza took part in the Great Patriotic War. Among them:

Kuleshov Nikolai, he was a teacher of our school. He was killed by fascists in the concentration camp. Vologodskaya Elizaveta, she was a scout. She visited our school after war several times.

In our town there are streets which were named after the heroes of the Great Patriotic War - Zhenya Bespomo schnov, Ivan Hurtin, Pantelei Kyanzhyn, Mikhail Mizinov. We should do everything to keep peace.
