Интегрированное внеклассное мероприятие по английскому языку

и физической культуре «Игры народов мира»

В нашем техникуме стало традицией проводить спортивные состязания «Игры народов мира». Актуальность данного мероприятия состоит в том, что оно не только дает возможность соприкоснуться с культурой разных стран мира и в увлекательной форме погрузиться в языковую среду, но и пропагандирует здоровый образ жизни. Мероприятие реализует такие цели и задачи, как воспитание толерантности, расширение образовательного кругозора, формирование сплоченности коллектива и чувства товарищества.

Для проведения мероприятия студенты самостоятельно ищут игры, собирая информацию из различных источников, в том числе и интернета, готовят красочные плакаты с различными высказываниями, украшают спортивный зал, продумывают музыкальное оформление.

Стихи, адресованные участникам соревнования, боевой настрой команд, интересные спортивные эстафеты с элементами национальных игр («Африканский канат», «Австралийский кенгуру», «Собери и разнеси» и др.) удерживают внимание зрителей в течение всего мероприятия. Все конкурсы, безусловно, требуют не только хорошей физической подготовки и возможности проявить себя творчески («Пирамида»), но и сплоченности команды, а самое главное поддержки болельщиков и зрителей, для которых подготовлена викторина. В процессе проведения состязаний студенты рассказывают об играх, заинтересовывая студентов национальными обычаями, жюри подводит итоги.

Ведущий 1: Good afternoon dear students and guests! We are glad to see you. Welcome to the competitions «Games around the world». Today you will have a chance to take part in many national games which enjoy the most popularity in different countries and you will know about their history. And now the students want to tell you some words about the games.

Студент 1. Все хотят соревноваться.

Пошутить и посмеяться,

Силу, ловкость показать

И сноровку доказать.

Студент 2. Этой встрече все мы рады,

Собрались не для награды

Нам встречаться чаще нужно,

Чтобы все мы жили дружно.

Студент 3. С нами здесь учителя

Иностранного языка.

А еще на праздник в зале

Мы гостей к себе позвали.

Убедитесь, что у нас

Все студенты просто класс.

Студент 4. We want to jump

We want to run

We want to live

And have great fun.

Студент 5. We want to see

A happy smile

We want to win

And spend good time.

Ведущий 2: There are two teams in the gymnasium «Victory» on the left and «Street racers» on the right. We have three members of our jury today. They are …. There will be 1 competition and 10 different national games today. Now listen to the rules of the games: for each victory the team gets 2 points and the looser only one point. You will try to get as many points as you can. At the end of the lesson we shall count all your points and name the winner of our games. Are you ready to start?

Ведущий 1: Now teams greet each other.

Команда «Victory»: Hello, dear friends! We are happy to meet you today. We wish you good luck.

Команда «Street racers»: Hello, dear friends! We are glad to see you and have competition with you.

Ведущий 2: Please captains come to the jury and give your emblems.

Капитаны команд передают эмблемы членам жюри.

Ведущий 1: The first task for you is to build the pyramid and say your motto.

Команды строят пирамиду и произносят девиз. (домашнее задание)

Команда «Victory»: Where there is courage there is victory.

Команда «Street racers»: One for all and all for one.

Ведущий 2: Now let's play games and listen to some interesting facts about national games. The first game is football.

Преподаватель физвоспитания объясняет правила каждой игры, перед началом которой дается краткая информация об истории и ее национальных особенностях.

1. «Football» (набивание мяча)

Студент 6. England is the motherland of football. It is a game played between two teams of eleven players. They kick a ball around a field trying to score a goal. The team with the most points wins. This game is popular in our country and all over the world.

2. «An Australian kangaroo» (прыжки с мячом, зажатым между коленями)

Студент 7. An Australian kangaroo is the best known animal. There are 50 species of kangaroo. Some animals are as tall as a man and some are as small as a cat. They can often be seen in the forests and parks. Can our student jump as far as kangaroo does, I wonder?

3. «Siberian cones» (метание теннисных мячей в корзину)

Студент 8. Siberia is rich in pines. Everybody knows its pleasant smell of the cones and their medical properties. But it's hard to get it from the pine tree. So in the competition we shall try to throw the cones to the basket.

Ведущий 1: And now let's have a short break. The students from the team "Street racers" will show you a sport dance and after it we are going to listen to the jury.

4. «Cheese-racing» (катание обруча)

Студент 9. English people are very proud of their traditions and carefully keep them. Cheese racing is one of the most popular games. The participants start at the top of the hill. They run down the hill behind the roll of cheese. The man who runs faster with his cheese is the winner. Let's imagine that we are in England and take part in cheese-racing.

5. «Juggling balls» (жонглирование двумя мячами)

Студент 10. It's known that the history of the game "Juggling balls" began many years ago in a small village in Byelorussia. Taking hot potatoes out of the stove men tried to catch them to the table with the help of juggling.

Ведущий 2 Instead of potatoes you will have balls. So the next task for you is juggling balls.

6. «Gather and deliver» (собирание в корзину, находящихся на равном расстоянии друг от друга фруктов по количеству членов команды)

Студент 11. It's interesting to know that there is one day a year when all Americans stay at home with their families and eat a big dinner. This is Thanksgiving Day which is celebrated in autumn when the harvest is gathered. So in this game each of you must pick up the fruit into the basket.

7. «Bowling» (сбивание мячом кеглей)

Студент 12. The history of this game began many years before our era. The objects like balls and skittles were found in ancient Egypt. The modern kind of this game appeared in the USA at the end of the 19^th century.

8. «British tea» (переливание воды с помощью чайной ложки из одной чашки в другую)

Студент 13. Tea being a tradition with the British, the day starts with a cup of tea. There are two tea breaks at work - at 11 a.m. and 4 p. m. (but it's 5 o. clock tea at home).The Englishman drinks tea when he is cold. He drinks tea when he is hot. He dinks tea before going visiting and has tea at his guests.

9. «An African rope» (перетягивание каната)

Студент 14. People in Africa live in different conditions often they must survive and be powerful.

Ведущий 1: Now let us see which team is the most powerful. Well done! Ведущий 2: I think our competitions were successful and very useful for you. You've found out much interesting about national games of different countries. I hope you have enjoyed the games and had a good time. And now I want you to answer my questions and remember the games you've played. We shall see which of you is the most attentive.
