Урок-обобщение по теме «Достопримечательности Лондона» в 5 классе

Цель: Способствование формированию коммуникативной компетенции учащихся, запоминанию лексических единиц по теме «Достопримечательности Лондона»

Задачи:

1. Образовательная: продолжить формирование базы для развития устной речи

2. Развивающая: содействовать развитию умений применять полученные знания на практике.

3. Воспитательная: познакомить учащихся с культурой стран изучаемого языка и их связями с мировой культурой

Ход урока:

1. Организационный момент. (слайд 1)

Teacher: Good morning,children. I'm glad to see you again. Sit down,please.

Today we will revise everything we have learnt about London and revise irregular verbs. But let's do some warm-up for our tongues. So, look at the screen. (слайд 2). There is a tongue twister. Will you repeat it as quick as possible 3 times.

2. Актуализация и обобщение имеющихся у учеников знаний по теме

Teacher: Well, thank you. Good job! And now when our tongues are ready to work-let's remember everything we know about London. Answer the following questions, please (слайд 3)

(The children are answering the questions)

Well done! Thank you! You know a lot of sights of London. But do you know how to translate them? (слайд 4)

(The children are translating the words)

Thank you! Very good! You know, there are a lot of tourists who don't know about London as much as you do, and they are confused about some things. Let's help them! (слайд 5)

(The children are doing the task)

Ok! Very nice. Thank you! I hope everybody will keep in mind this information!

And now, look at the screen again. (слайд 6)

(The children are reading the letter) There is a part of a letter from our friend Katherine. Please, answer her questions using these verbs! (слайд 7) Mind irregular verbs, please! Do it orally!

Well, thanks a lot. And in the end of our lesson I would like you to do a mini-test. (слайд 8-10) The first 3 pupils will get a mark for the test.

Teacher: Well, our trip to London is finished. Do you like it? What do you like most of all? Is there anything you don't like? What?

(The teacher is putting the marks. Homework is to write a plan for a tour of London for your friends)
