Внеклассное мероприятие проходит в рамках недели английского языка в школе.

Цель мероприятия:

Формирование у учащихся системы знаний о животных, повышение уровня мотивации при изучении английского языка, формирование мето- предметных учебных действий в процессе подготовки и проведения мероприятия.

Задачи:

Образовательные : расширение лингвистического кругозора учащихся

Развивающие: развитие коммуникативных способностей, развитие и поддержание интереса к изучению английского языка

Воспитательные: воспитание умения работать в команде и уважительно относиться друг к другу; воспитание бережного отношение к природе и животным.

Оборудование: фонограммы песен, бейджики с картинками травоядных и плотоядных животных , 2набора фломастеров и цветных карандашей ,2 листа ватмана для творческого конкурса , «волшебная» коробка синего цвета с крышкой; несколько мягких игрушек-животных, призы по несколько бананов и косточек из цветного картона для «Травоядных и плотоядных»

В процессе подготовки и проведение мероприятия проводится работа по формированию следующих метопредметных компетентностей:

Коммуникативных: умение организовывать учебное сотрудничество и совместную деятельность с учителем и сверстниками; работать индивидуально и в группе.

Познавательных: формирование и развитие компетентности в области использования информационных технологий.

Регулятивных: умение планировать пути достижения целей; корректировать свои действия в соответствии с изменяющейся ситуацией

Предметные результаты:строить связное монологическое высказывание с опорой на зрительную наглядность.

Show host1 :Let's form two teams.

The first team is «Tigers» and the second team is «Pandas».

(Участники игры выбирают карточки на которых нарисованы травоядные животные (слон, обезьяна, утенок, кенгуру, заяц, панда)и плотоядные(собака, тигр, пантера, медведь, кошка, крокодил);так формируются команды. Участники команд прикалывают эти знаки себе на одежду

Show-host 2 : So, now we have two teams Our first contest is to represent the team. Please, say some words about the animals in your teamThe team «Tigers»are you ready?

(Члены этой команды представляют свою команду. Каждый участник команды, читающий стихотворение ,должен его инсценировать)

Kitten:

I'm a little kitty.

I love to tippy toe .

Ready now, let's go.

Bear:

If I were a bear,

And a big bear too,

I shouldn't much care

If it froze or snew :

I shouldn't much mind

If it showed or friz-

I'd be all fur lined

With a coat like this!

Crocodile:

I am an alligator

Sitting on a log.

Down in the pool

I see a little frog.

I want to catch it quickly

But round goes the log.

Splash goes the water.

Away swims the frog.

Panter:

I am a clever panther,

So graceful and so strong,

And I enjoy my hunting

When nights are dark and long.

Tiger:

I am a big tiger,

I climb like a cat,

I swim like a fish,

I am quick like a rat

I live in the jungle,

My coat is bright,

That's why clever tigers

Go hunting at night

Kangaroo:

When you go to the zoo,

Please watch my mother kangaroo.

Inside her skin she has a pocket

She puts her baby there to rock it.

Elephant:

The elephant walks

Like this and that.

It's very fat.

No fingers, no toes,

But oh, what a nose!

Parrot:

I wonder have you ever heard

A parrot? I am a talking bird.

I say «Hello» to any man.

I eat ,I sleep and talk again.

Rabbit:

I'm a little rabbit.

I love to hop ,hop ,hop.

Come on, and do it with me.

It's fun;we'll never stop.

Monkey:

Little monkeys like to play,

We eat bananas every day,

When we grimace we make you laugh,

All people look at us, with love

Panda:

I like my living at the Zoo,

There is a lot of green bamboo.

For I am pretty and so kind

You look at me with great delight.

Show-host 1:It's time to start the second contest. You should guess some riddles about animals. Look and listen to them and put down your answers on these pieces of paper.

Show-host 2:And now we have a very interesting contest. You should draw a fantastic animal and tell about him. Give him a name. Tell what he eats and drinks ,where he lives ,what he can do. Here are your pencils. Please draw your fantastic animals on these sheets of paper. You have five minutes to do this task.

Show-host 1 : The next contest is called «blue box». There are some toy-animals in this box .You should guess what it is. You may ask me questions to get « Yes -or No-answers». The team that can guess this animal quicker is the winner .Your questions may be «Is it big ?»Does it live in the forest?» «Does it eat grass?»or «Can in it swim?» So, «Tiger», it is your turn to start.
