Цель урока - создание ситуации, способствующей психологической готовности детей к речевому общению, а также для отработки навыков поискового чтения, говорения на английском языке через изучение всемирно известных достопримечательностей (в частности объектов Московского кремля)

Задачи урока

1)дидактические:

обеспечить в ходе урока закрепление основной лексики (Kremlin, Fortress, Well-known, Palace, Church, Cathedral, Tower, Square, Dome, Tsar, to be buried)

закрепить умения, навыки (составлять мини-рассказ), навыки самоконтроля

2)развивающие:

• развивать у школьников умения выделять главное, существенное в изучаемом материале, обобщать, логически излагать свои мысли;

• развивать самостоятельность и волю школьников, используя для этого проблемные ситуации, творческие задания, дискуссии, самостоятельное составление задач;

• развивать эмоции учащихся, создавать на уроках эмоциональные ситуации удивления, радости, занимательности, использовать яркие примеры, иллюстрации, воздействующие на чувства ученика;

• развивать познавательный интерес школьников.

3)воспитательные:

• содействовать воспитанию у учащихся чувства патриотизма, уважения к культуре своей страны и странам изучаемого языка.

ХОД УРОКА:

1. Организационный момент:

Good afternoon, everybody. I am glad to see you. How are you today? (стук сердца) Excuse me, can you hear it? What the sound is it? Yes, exactly. It is the heartbeat. Can you explain, what is the heart? Yes, it is the main part of our body. So, what is the main part of our country? Sure, the Moscow City is the main part of our country. By the way, what is the heart of Moscow? Yes, certainly, the Kremlin is the heart of Moscow. Now let's try to name the title of our lesson and your today's goals (vocabulary). Well, you're welcome to our travel agency "From Heart to Heart". (слайд 2)

• Entrance ticket for visiting the Kremlin is RUR 300 (USD 15) for adults and RUR 150 (USD 7.5) for students. Photography permit costs extra. The ticket office is located at the Alexandrovsky Garden. Ticket prices are same for all tourists.

2. (слайд 4) We organize tours for three types of groups: politicians, pilgrims and scientists. By the way, who are the politicians, pilgrims and scientists? Yes, absolutely! Take the cards and read the name of you group. Imagine, that you're tourists. Now, please, open your students' books at p.8. Also I'll give you some extra texts to help you. You are to find out the information according to the names of your groups. For example, the group of politicians should find some political facts and objects and then give the information to other people. Remember, each of you should have a piece of information. But first of all let's remember the words which can help you to understand the text. Please, read the words one by one and try to translate them. (слайд 5)

3. During our excursion try to use the active vocabulary, its grammar structures. Do your best. I'll give you 7 minutes to do this task.

Moscow is one of the oldest Russian cities. It is the capital of Russia. It is one of the biggest and the most beautiful cities in the world. It was founded in 1147 by Russian Prince Yuri Dolgoruky.

Moscow is a modern city now. The population of the city is about 9.5 million people. The total area of Moscow is about nine hundred square kilometers.

The heart of Moscow is the Kremlin.

6. There are some places of interest and I'd like to describe them for you (слайд 8). Lenin's Mausoleum also known as Lenin's Tomb, situated in Red Square in the center of Moscow, is the mausoleum that serves as the current resting place of Vladimir Lenin. His embalmed body has been on public display there since shortly after his death in 1924. During the great Patriotic war, the body of Vladimir Lenin was evacuated from Moscow mausoleum in Tyumen. It happened on July 27, 1941. The mummy of Lenin has been in Tyumen three years and nine months, and this was the only case for 85 years, when the embalmed body of Lenin left the Mausoleum.

7. (слайд 9) The USSR Government decided to erect a monument to the Unknown soldier in Moscow. In a desperate attack were soldiers, officers. They were buried the inhabitants of the surrounding villages. Buried in a mass grave. No one knew their names, they were buried nameless... The Ashes of one of them now rests near the Kremlin wall, the ashes of the unknown soldier. He died defending Moscow. This decision was in response to numerous requests of workers, participants of the great Patriotic war, the relatives of those killed in battle on the fields of battle. Traditionally, the memorial is a place visited by tourists and honeymooners. Every year on May 9, celebrating the Victory Day, with a moment of silence in honor to the memory of the dead, people lay flowers. Let's stand up.

Несмотря на множество перечисленных задач, все они тем или иным способом работали на поставленную цель.

Сопровождение слайдами и видеоматериалом позволило учащимся самостоятельно определить тему урока и цели.

Урок проведен в виде ролевой игры «Туристическое агентство».

Роли в данном случае были распределены учителем, в соответствии с моим представлением о возможностях уч-ся, в соответствии с нестандартной психологической ситуацией (в рамках открытого урока и присутствия гостей на уроке).

Считаю, что основные задачи урока реализованы, цель достигнута.

Виды заданий: чтение, говорение, элементы устной речи, формулировка самостоятельных высказываний, отработка лексических единиц (слов)

Контроль знаний и умений уч-ся предполагается на следующем уроке в виде проверки домашнего задания (10-15 минут)
