"Интеллектуальный марафон",

6 e класс (2 группы)

Цель: развитие коммуникативных навыков учащихся.

Задачи:

• создание положительной мотивации к изучению языка;

• обучение детей работать в коллективе;

• формирование интереса к культуре страны изучаемого языка;

• расширение кругозора;

• развитие логического мышления;

• воспитание умения слушать других и быстро выражать свои мысли;

• обучение навыкам монологической и диалогической речи;

• развитие языковых, интеллектуальных и познавательных способностей.

Оборудование:

плакат-приветствие участников интеллектуального марафона, плакаты с достопримечательностями Лондона, раздаточный материал (карточки с заданиями), магнитофон, аудиокассета с песнями, медали из цветного картона для награждения участников в разных номинациях.

Ход мероприятия.

I. Приветствие команд.

II. Выбор участниками капитанов в каждой команде.

III. Выбор названия команд.

IV. Ознакомление команд с планом мероприятия (очередность выполнения заданий, присуждение 1 балла за каждый правильный ответ, состав жюри, подведение итогов жюри).

V. Задание 1.

Guess the riddles:

1. It runs but has no legs. (time)
