Today we are going to learn the seasons of the year. So there are 4 seasons in a year. What

season is it?

This is the season

When birds make their nests.

This is the season

We all like best?

What season is it?

You are right. It is spring, a wonderful season.

Исполняется песня о весне.

Why do the birds sing?

Cheep, cheep! Why do the birds sing?

Cheep, cheep! Why do the birds sing?

Cheep, cheep! The birds all sing

Cheep, cheep because it is spring!

Spring.

Spring is coming, I can't feel it, How soft is the morning air! Birds are singing, buds are peeping Life and joy are everywhere.

On March, 17th all American and Irish people celebrate St' Patrick's day. Now we are going to tell you about this holiday.

PI. March, 17th is St' Patrick's day. It's a day to remember the Irish people in the USA and Ireland.

P2. Ireland is a country with a lot of green grass and shamrocks. Shamrocks are small plants with three leaves.

P3. There is a lot of green in Ireland so green is Ireland's national colour. P4. People wear green cloyhes on that day. Many of them go to parties.

Р5. They sang, dance and eat Irish food. Some people drink green beer.

P6. St' Patrick was a priest in Ireland many years ago. He taught them about God.

P7. There many stories about him. One of it's stories says that he sent all snakes away from

Ireland.

T.

Святой Патрик умер 17 марта. Начиная с 1845 года многие ирландцы эмигрировали в Америку так как там было легче жить и прокормиться. Празднование Дня Святого Патрика помогает ирландцам вспомнить их страну, музыку, семьи. Р8. Many Americans say: " Everyone is Irish on St' Patrick's day.' T.

Another holiday is Easter. We celebrate it in spring too. And we sing the song about Easter. Easter

The air is like a butterfly

With frail blue wings.

The happy Earth looks at the sky

And sing, sing, sing.

Ode to spring.

O, spring, O, spring!

You wonderful thing!

O, spring, O, spring, O, spring.

O, spring, O, spring.

When the birds sing

I feel like a king.

O, spring!

T. What season is it? This is the season When nights are short And children have plenty Of fun and sport. Boating and swimming All day long

Will make us well and strong. T.

That's right. It is summer. Let's listen to the poems about summer. Summer

Summer time is a time for play

We are happy all the day.

The sun is shining all day long

The trees are full of birds and song.

Long life, summer!

Summer's here

Days are long

And the sun

Is high and strong!

Long life, summer,

Golden - bright

Full of warmth and

Sweet delight!

Welcome, summer!

Ring-a-ding, Ring-a-ding,

Ding, ding, ding!

In comes summer Out goes spring! Ring-a-ding, Ring-a-ding, Ding, ding, ding! Welcome, summer! Good-bye, spring! T.

This is the season

When days are short and cool

When we eat apples

And go to school.

What season is it? It is autumn. Let's listen to the poems about autumn.

Autumn leaves.

Come, little leaves

Says the wind one day

Come over the meadows

With me to play.

Put on your dresses

Of red and gold

For summer is gone

And the days are cold.

T.

What season is it?

Dancing, whiling the little leaves went

Soon, fast asleep in their Earth beds

The snow laid a coverlet over their heads.

This is the season When mornings are dark And birds do not sing In their woods and parks. This is the season When children ski And Father Frost Brings New Year tree.

T. That's right. It is winter. Let's listen to the song about winter.

We'll make a snowman.

We'll make a snowman.

Big and round, big and round

We'll put a snowman.

On the round, on the round

Little children, make a ring

Make a ring, make a ring.

We shall dance and we shall sing

We shall sing, we shall sing.

T.

Thank you for your work, dear children. Now we want to retell you the last poem about all four seasons.

Farewell to four seasons.

Green for spring And blue for summer And the days go by Gold autumn While for winter Old year's gone Good - bye. T.

Children, let's sing the song about four seasons. Spring is green, Summer is bright, Autumn is yellow, Winter is white.
