- Good afternoon, boys and girls! I want to greet you and our dear guests. Today we've got a debate. And the topic of our debate is "Television is harmful". We've got two teams. I want to introduce you these teams.

Team number one, the positive team: (называются имена участников «положительной» команды, то есть команды, поддерживающей утверждение о том, что телевидение приносит вред). Let's greet them!

Team number two, the negative team: (называются имена участников «отрицательной» команды, не согласной с утверждением о вреде телевидения). Let's greet these brave students as well!

We've got a time keeper. It's (имя ученика, который показывает карточки с минутами - 1, 2, 3).

And now with great pleasure I want to introduce you our honest jury: (представляют членов жюри). Let's greet them, too.

Silence, please! It's time to start our debate. The topic is clear - "TV is harmful". The first positive speaker, you are welcome to speak!

Подобным образом выступают остальные участники команд и их группы поддержки. Всего в командах по три человека. То есть время дебатов - 36 минут.
