Пояснительная записка
Обучение младших школьников английскому языку вызвано стремлением использовать потенциальные возможности возраста, наиболее благоприятного для овладения иностранным языком, в расчете на получение более высокой результативности обучения предмету с целью удовлетворения существующих в обществе потребностей иноязычного общения в различных сферах деятельности.
Раннее обучение иностранному языку оказывает самое благоприятное воздействие на развитие детей, их познавательные и языковые способности, содействует решению многих воспитательных и образовательных задач.
Обучение детей младшего школьного возраста иностранному языку способствует всемерному развитию ребёнка в процессе мышления, памяти, воображения, эмоций, использованию иноязычной речи для выражения и понимания мысли.
В процессе овладения учащимися новым средством общения у них формируется правильное понимание языка как общественного явления, развиваются их интеллектуальные, речевые и эмоциональные способности, а так же личностные качества: общечеловеческие ценностные ориентации, интересы, воля.
Кроме того, приобщение младшего школьника с помощью иностранного языка к иной культуре позволяет ему осознать себя как личность, принадлежащую к определенной социокультурной общности людей, а так же воспитывает в нем уважение и терпимость к другому образу жизни.
Процесс обучения иностранному языку вносит коммуникативную направленность, строится на устной основе, происходит в игровой форме с использованием стихов, песен, считалок на английском языке.
Любой урок должен быть увлекательным, вызывать интерес у детей; ведь интерес является главной движущей силой познавательной деятельности.
Алгоритм работы над стихотворением:
1. Прочитать стихотворения, используя визуальные опоры.
2. Отрабатываются с учащимися как фонетически, так и семантически с помощью визуальной опоры слова, словосочетания, отдельные предложения: snow, a white snowman, a cold winter day, autumn leaves, dresses of red and gold, summer is gone, the days are cold. Слова предварительно записаны на доске либо на карточках (по одной на каждую парту).
3. Задаются ребятам вопросы с целью проверки понимания.
4. Стихотворения прочитываются по схеме: учитель -> ученик, ученик - учитель, сначала по одной, а затем по две строчки.
5. Стихотворения прочитываются хором вместе с учителем.
6. Класс делится на две команды, которые работают над выбранными ими стихотворениями. Строчку за строчкой, интонационно оформляя их, ребята проговаривают стихотворения до конца, поправляя друг друга. Затем повторяют стихотворения, добиваясь хорошего результата.
7. Команды воспроизводят стихотворения по цепочке, используя нарисованные ими на уроке или приготовленные заранее картинки, иллюстрирующие содержание.
На дом учащиеся получают задание выучить понравившееся стихотворение, подготовить иллюстрацию, выполнить перевод. На следующем уроке можно прочитать переводы детей и сделать выставку рисунков. Желательно отметить удачи переводчиков и хорошие иллюстрации.
Этапы работы над стихотворением:
- подготовка учащихся к первичному прослушиванию стихотворения
- работа по снятию языковых трудностей
- первичное прослушивание стихотворения
- проверка понимания его содержания и обсуждение прослушанного
- анализ изобразительных средств языка
- выразительное чтение стиха школьниками
- знакомство с имеющимися переводами данного стихотворения
- перевод учащимися стихотворения на русский язык.

Данное стихотворение используется для тренировки учащихся в произнесении звука [θ].

Данная игра используется для тренировки учащихся в произнесении звука [ŋ].
Теасhеr: And now let's learn the way English Imitate the ringing of bells- What is one of the beautiful things about the ringing of bells? I think it's the fact that you can hear the sound long after you have struck it. Now, play a bell. But don't forget that bells have different voices.

Lapping Milk
Трудно научить ребят произнесению звуков [l] []особенно трудно им показать свой язык, когда это требуется.
Teacher: Children, have you ever seen 3 kitten drinking milk? In fact, it doesn't drink it, it kips it. Could you show it? Oh, what nice kittens you are! Now I'll recite a rhyme about it and when I say "lap, lap, lap!"Please, make your kittens lap milk.
Little kitty laps her milk,
Lap, lap, lap!
Her tongue goes out,
Her tongue goes in,
Lap, lap, lap!
Little kitty likes her milk
Lap, lap, lap!
Oh, see her tongue
Go out and in,
Lap, lap, lap!
Упражнение, конечно, было забавным и полезным, После слов "lар, 1ар, 1ар!" нужно делать паузу, чтобы дать возможность ребятам изобразить, как котенок пьет молоко.
Звуки [Ь] и [р] по-своему трудны для русских, звук [b] произносится совсем неслышно, а [р] с придыханием.
Teacher: Children, can you show how the rabbit hops? Yes, Jane, you have played the rabbit well. Let one of you hop like a rabbit and we will say "Hippity hop", but let us say it very softly.

Разучив стихотворение, учащиеся тренируются в произнесении этих звуков, повторяя слова , которые передают мягкие прыжки кролика.

Это стихотворение полезно использовать для тренировки учащихся в произнесении звука [ɔ:]
They call me Little Sleepy Head!
I yawn at work, I yawn at play! I yawn and yawn and yawn all day
Then take my sleepy yawns to bed!
That's why they call me Sleepy Head.
Сыграть соню, который вечно зевает, не так трудно. Положение губ при произнесении звука [э:] наглядно демонстрируется в слове yawn.

Oh, Where Is My Whistle?
Однажды учитель крайне удивил своих учеников тем, что попросил их тихонько посвистеть на уроке. Затем он сказал:: "Do you know that to pronounce the English word "whistle" you have really to whistle? Yes, indeed! To be more exact, as if you wanted to whistle because this word begins with the sound [wl. And now listen to the rhyme about a whistle and a boy called Willie".
"Oh, where is my whistle?"
Asked Willie one day.
"My dear little whistle,
My little white whistle,
My dear little, white little whistle, I say!

"Why, here is your whistle,"
His brother replied.
"Your dear little whistle,
Your little white whistle,
Your dear little, white little whistle," He cried.
Многократное повторение непривычного для русских звука [w] привлекло внимание учителя к этому стихотворению. Ребята с увлечением играли разговор двух мальчиков. Это как раз и нужно было учителю.

Playing Airplane
Игра используется для тренировки учащихся в произнесении звука [v].
Teacher: Did you ever try to imitate a flying plane? I think you stretched your arms apart, inclined your body a little, and here you are... flying. And how about English children? They do just the same, with a little difference: instead of the Russian sound lx] they say [v]. Try and do the way the English children of your age do.
The plane is travelling up in the sky,

Moving so fast, and ever so high,

Over the land, and over the sea,

Ребята, играя в самолет, хорошо научились произносить звук [v].

The Motor-Boat
Отработка звука [t]. Teacher: And how could you imitate the work of a motor boat? How do English children imitate it when playing? They believe that the sound [t] suits here best. You are surprised, aren't you? It's no wonder because the Russian sound [t] wouldn't do here. But only try and say "putt, putt, and putt" and the motor will start, and you will be gliding over the river. Let's try and do it together!
I have a little motor boat.
It turns around the bay, and when I start my motor boat
It always seems to say:
Putt-putt!Putt-putt!
But when the boat is under way and running fast, it seems to say:
Putt-putt-putt-putt, Putt-putt-putt-putt-putt-putt-putt!

An Old Black Crow
An old black crow flew into a tree.
"Caw, caw, caw!"
And what do you think that he could see?
"Caw, caw, caw!
" He saw the sun shine on the lake.

And tiny splashes fishes make.

Teacher: Do you know that English crows never say « »? What do they say? "Caw, caw", they say. "Why?" you will ask. I think because the English [k] and id:] are back sounds. Try and say "caw" and you will easily imagine that a crow is cawing.

Go, My Little Pony, Go!
Для тренировки учащихся в произнесении звука [оu] учитель использовал знаменитую игру в лошадки. Русским детям надо очень стараться, чтобы правильно произнести
Teacher: Have you ever seen a pony? Of course, you have. Ponies are very popular in England. That's why when English children play hobby-horse they imagine a pony before them. Now let's divide into twos: one will be a rider, the other one - a pony. One, two, three -go! Only don't forget to say "Go!" properly, otherwise your pony wouldn'tо me.

Правильное произнесение звука [оu] должно быть условием, при котором «пони» может сдвинуться с места.
Му Рuрреts
Звук [j] труден для русских учащихся, особенно в начале слова. Слова уоu1, уег, уеа3 со звуком [j] в следующем стихотворении помогут учащимся потренироваться в его произнесении.
