"The Tour to Britain"

Цель: развитие мотивации и познавательного интереса учащихся.

Задачи: проверить лексико-грамматические знания изучаемого материала у учащихся; развивать умение учащихся работать в группах.

Оборудование: Карточки, наглядность, презентация, критерии оценки конкурса, назначение жюри, задания.

Ход мероприятия

1. Организационный момент

Учитель приветствует учащихся и гостей, представляет команды, объявляет цели и тему мероприятия.

Teacher:

1. Good morning, children and dear guests of our holiday. Today we will have the competition, which is called "The Tour to Britain". We have two teams: "The British" and "The Tourists". Let's greet our teams.

2. Now let us introduce or jury.

3. Therefore, we begin our competition.

1^st station "The Alphabet"

Teacher:

1. The figures below mark the order of letters in the English alphabet. Insert the required letters (Цифры заменяются буквами в соответствии с алфавитом английского языка)

2. Replace the words in order according to the English alphabet.(Дети расставляют слова в алфавитном порядке)

2^nd station "Your Fantasy"

Teacher:

Make as many words as you can out of the letters of the following word for 2 minutes. BLACKBOARD (Дети составляют как можно больше слов из данного слова)

3^rd station "Puzzles"

Teacher:

In turn you will ask each other the puzzles. The team must guess the answer.

( Дети загадывают друг другу загадки)

4^th station "Combine the Text"

Teacher:

Your task is to combine the sentences of the text together. ( Из отдельных выражений составляются целые предложения)

5^th station "Let's Have a Rest"

Teacher:

You must draw on the balls schoolboy or schoolgirl. Choose your task. ( На шарах прикрепленных к классной доске дети пытаются нарисовать ученика и ученицу, не удерживая шарик руками)

6^th station "Verbs"

Teacher:

Let's remember 3 forms of the verbs. (Дети по очереди называют три формы неправильных глаголов)

7^th station "Reading"

Teacher:

You are to read the text in different ways: falling in love, having a toothache, hiccup, frighten.( Дети читают текст различными способами: признаются в любви, болят зубы, напала икота, пытается напугать.)

8^th station "Crossword"

Teacher:

Your task is to guess the crossword.(Разгадываем кроссвод)

9^th station "Presentation"

Teacher:

Let's look at the presentation. You are to remember (keep in mind) the most important meanings. ( Просмотр презентации, дети должны запомнить важные моменты)

10^thstation "The Quiz"

Teacher:

Every team is to answer the questions. (Команды отвечают на вопросы.)

2. What is the capital of Wales? (Cardiff)

3. What parts does the United Kingdom consist of? (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland)

4. Who is the head of State in Great Britain? (Queen)

5. What is the residence of the Queen? (Buckingham Palace)

6. In what building do the members of the Parliament work? (The House of Parliament)

7. What sightseeing do you remember from the presentation?

8. What British traditional holidays do you know?

9. What is the name of the Queen? (Elizabeth the II)

12. What is the river in London? ( the Thames)

13. What is the name of the flag of Great Britain? (Union Jack)
