План занятия по теме: «Дом моей мечты»

Занятие является обобщающим в цикле занятий по теме: «Жилищные условия». Занятие построено с применением проектной методики. Студенты в группах выполняют различные задания и составляют проект дома. В конце занятия каждая группа защищает свой проект.

Тема: «Дом моей мечты».

Цели: 1. Закрепление лексико-грамматических навыков по теме.

2. Обобщение и контроль знаний по теме.

3. Развитие творческих способностей студентов.

Оборудование: карточки с лексикой, задания для аудирования, магнитофон, иллюстрации (мебель), индивидуальные тексты, 2 ватмана, клей, фломастеры, ножницы.

Ход занятия

1. Орг. Момент.

2. Мотивация.

Today we are finishing the topic "Our Flat". It is the last lesson in the topic and we should present the results of our work.

We'll work in 2 groups. Each group has its chief. The task of the chiefs is to put marks to every member of the group at the end of the lesson.

3. Фонетическая зарядка.

[a:] I shan't dance at the garden's party at my aunt's farm.

• Translate this phrase, please.

• Let's read it all together.

• Who can present this drill?

4. Речевая разминка.

- Are you a student?

- Where do you live?

- Do you live with your parents?

- Do you live in the hostel?

- What do have a flat or a house?

- Is your flat big?

- How many rooms are there&

- Do you have a room of your own?

- Is your room cosy?

5. Активизация лексических навыков.

1. Find an odd word.

Living room, bathroom, chair, kitchen.

Wardrobe, cupboard, bookcase, bed.

Flat, sofa, table, armchair.

Balcony, central heating, electricity, telephone.

2. "Snowball"

6. Актуализация грамматических структур. ( Предлагается любая иллюстрация меблированной комнаты для описания)

• Look at the picture and tell me what you can see. But do it in turn. Those who tell the last phrase will be the winners.

7. Аудирование.

8. Совершенствование навыков чтения (см. Приложение 2).

- I've cut the text into some pieces. Take any you like. I will read a sentence in Russian and you are to find it and read in English. But first I give you 5 minutes to read your extract.

9. Самостоятельная работа. (Студентам в каждой группе предлагается ватман, клей и иллюстрации мебели. За обозначенное время обучающиеся должны составить макет дома и приготовить его описание).

- It's high time to prepare the models of the houses. Take everything you need. You'll have 15 minutes for it.

- When your projects are ready make their description.

- You are welcome to show your models. The other group is to listen and prepare some questions.

10. Итоги урока.

- Now the chiefs should put the marks to their groups.

- By the way do you like your models?

- Is it really your dream?

11. Домашнее задание.

- Your home task is to prepare your individual projects of the house.

- Your model should be done according to my requirements: 1corret grammar, 2original viewing, and 3 aesthetical viewing.

Приложение 2

I live in a new nine-storied block of flats in Pushkin street. In front of the house there is a children's playground and a small garden. We like to spend our time there.

Our flat is on the fourth floor. It is very comfortable. We have all modern conveniences, such as central heating, electricity, gas, cold and hot running water and a telephone. There are three rooms in our flat: a living room and two bedrooms.

0ur living room is the largest in the flat. It is nicely furnished. Against the wall you can see a nice cupboard. There is a colour TV-set in the corner. In the opposite corner there is a sofa and two armchairs. The piano is on the right. There are two pictures above the piano.

Near the piano there is a bookcase. We are fond of books and have plenty of them at home. 0n the floor we have a nice thick carpet. The curtains on the window match the wallpaper. All this makes the room cosy.

Our bedrooms are also very nice and cosy. The parents' bed-room is larger than the children's. There are two beds, a bedside table, some chairs and a wardrobe in it. There is a lovely carpet on the floor between the beds.

The children's bedroom is just across the corridor on the right. Here you can see two sofa-beds where my sister and I sleep at night and have a rest in the day-time. There is also a writing-table, two chairs and some bookshelves here.

We use our bedroom as a study where we do our homework. In the corner of the room there is a small table with a tape-recorder on it. We all enjoy listening to music.

Our kitchen is rather large. There is a gas-stove, a dining table, four stools, a refrigerator and a cupboard in which we keep cups, plates and all our dishes. The kitchen serves us as a dining-room. But when we receive guests or have our family celebrations we have the meals in the living-room.
