The theme of the lesson: My favourite flower

The aims of the lesson:

a) Educational aim: to enrich pupils' knowledge about flowers. Introduction of the new words: "rose", "daisy", "lily", "lotus", "marigold", "sunflower", "tulip" make up word combinations and sentences with the new words: to educate their oral speech by doing exercise: 1,2,3.

b) Developing aim: develop their memory and oral

speech by doing different exercises develop their skills in speaking writing hearing and reading by doing exercises and playing games

c) Cultural aim: educate them to be honest clever

and to be active all their life teacher to respect the English languages

Type of the lesson: Lesson of using knowledge and skills

Visual aids: interactive-blackboard, pictures, markers.

IV. The new theme

Well pupils listen to me attentively. I'll introduce to you names of flowers. First of all repeat after me and the write down names of flowers.

Names of flowers: rose- роза, lily- , daisy - түймедақ, sunflower - күнбағыс, lotus - лотос, marigold - барқытгүл. The first we must divide into three groups. The first group is - rose. The second group is - lily. The third group is - daisy.

V. Play game!

Pupils you must write name of flowers and write their names.

Group "rose". Lily, marigold.

Group " lily:. Daisy, lotus.

Group "daisy". Sunflower, tulip.

And match them.

Omar: What's your favourite flower?

Carol: My favourite flower is Rose.

Colin: and my favourite flower is daisy.

Omar: why is it your favourite flower?

Carol: Because, it's beautiful.

Colin: It smells good.

Omar: What colour is your flower?

Colin: Daisy is white and yellow in the middle.

Carol: Roses are red, white, yellow and pink.

Omar: Good, I like flowers, too.

Exercise: 3. Read the chart and complete it.
