Тема урока: "Traditional food"

Цель урока: Расширить знания учащихся о традиционной пище Британии и Казахстана

Задачи урока:

  1. практические:

  • развитие лексико-грамматических навыков;

  • развитие диалогической/ монологической речи;

  • развитие умения слушать и понимать иноязычную речь на слух;

  • формирование навыка поискового чтения;

  1. общеобразовательные:

  • расширение филологического кругозора учащихся;

  • расширение словарного запаса;

  • расширение общего кругозора;

  • стимулировать общение на иностранном языке;

  • создать положительную мотивацию при изучении ИЯ;

  1. воспитательные:

  • воспитание любви и уважения к семейным традициям;

  • формирование принципов здорового образа жизни;

  • воспитание внимания, умения слушать друг друга;

  • развитие умений работы в паре, в группе;

  • создание и поддержание мотиваций к изучению английского языка;

  • воспитания трудолюбия и активности;

  1. развивающие:

  • развитие памяти, мышления, воображения;

  • развитие языковой догадки.

  • развитие мыслительных и речевых способностей учащихся.

Тип урока: комбинированный

Метод урока: коммуникативно-ориентированный.

карточки, диаграммы, тест.

ХОД УРОКА


I. Подготовка учащихся к речевой деятельности на английском языке.

  1. Приветствие.

Т.: Good morning, boys and girls!

Cl.: Good morning, teacher!

T.: I'm glad to see you!

Cl.: We are glad to see you, too!

T.: Children, today we are having guests at our lesson, let's say hello to them.

Cl.: Good morning, we are glad to see you.

T.: How are you today?

Cl.: We are fine, thank you.

T.: Sit down, please.

2. Сообщение задач урока.

T.: Today we'll talk about traditional foods is in Kazakhstan and in Britain and we'll compare them.

3. Фонетическая зарядка.

T: But first lets learn on English proverbs. They are on the screen.

Can you relate these proverbs to the topic "food"

Try to explain how you understand them?

" An apple a day keeps the doctor away".

" A man is what he eats."

4. Речевая разминка.

T.: -By the way, children, do you eat apples every day?

-Tell me, please, what do you eat for breakfast?

  • What do eat in Britain?

II. Повторение ранее пройденного и развитие всех видов речевой деятельности.


1. Проверка домашнего задания.

T: At home you read a lot of interesting things about British foods. And now let's check up your knowledge. Please, look at the screen.

Read the sentences and make up words from letters in bracket to fill in the gaps.

Meals in Britain.

A traditional English breakfast is big meal- ( ausagses) , (naboc) , (gsge) , (meollete) .

Nowadays many people have with (klim) , or (stoat) ,

with (mrlamdea) and (neyho) .

The traditional drink is(tae) , of course.

People have afternoon tea with (rebad) , (akesc) .

T: And now, children, look at the screen and remember!

Remember!

Plural nouns end in -s or -es. They are countable. Some nouns don't have plural form. They are uncountable.

T: And now the task for you is to write words in the correct column. Write the words on the sheets of papers which are on your desk. (слова на экране).

T: And now let's check up the task, change your sheet's of paper with your partners and give marks to each other.

3. Развитие навыков чтения и говорения.

T: You know, children, that people can't live without food. It's very important for us. Kazakh national was always famous for its hospitality and originality of its national cuisine. People's soul, history, traditions and customs lie within Kazakh national cuisine.

Since ancient times Kazakh folklore had proverbs and sayings related to this topic and having the deep meaning: "Don't be higher than food, gold and silver are stones", "Treat your food with care, otherwise you may lose your health".

T: Look at the screen again you can see a lot of names of different food and drinks. Let's pronounce them firstly. Repeat the words after me (на экране новая лексика с изображением.)

T: Now, children, look at the screen and read aloud the text. "Traditional food" about eating in Kazakhstan. (учащиеся читают по очереди текст на экране, учитель исправляет ошибки).

Traditional food


The traditional Kazakhstan food include mutton and horse-beef as well as sour-milk products which are closely associated with nomadic way of life. The main dishes of Kazakh cuisine are as follows: cooked mutton and horse-beef (beshbarmak), kuyrdak (fried mutton pluck), horse-beef delicatessen (chuzhuk, Kazy, zhal, zhaya), sheep's milk, cows milk and the product (katyk, kurt,) irimshik and mare's milk (kymyz). Appearance of flour in the Kazakh diet renewed the traditional dish - beshbarmak, which began to be served with large pieces of rolled dough. Other dishes appeared, like kuimak, kattama oima-puff flat cakes fried in oil. The Kazakh cuisine is also remarkable for tasty plov (pilaf) - cooked of rice and mutton. And, of course, no feast goes without strong and tasty creamed tea.

4.Развитие навыков диалогической речи .

T: Tell us what you learnt about, eating in Kazakhstan firstly I want you to work in pairs and discuss it with your partner.

T.: I see that you know the words on the topic "Food", I was really pleased with your work today. What did you know at our lesson? What did countries we compare? In conclusion I want to say thank you for all our participants. Every dish was served with special meaning and right to the point.

T: At home prepare the retelling of the text "Traditional foods", do exercise 18 on page 70 in writing and draw the diagram about Eating in Britain and Eating in Kazakhstan.
