ХОД УРОКА:

- Good morning, dear boys and girls!

- ….

- Today we have a very interesting lesson. Today we must work hard to cope with all the tasks. First of all we'll refresh our words, we'll work with our grammar material, we'll act out our dialogues and we'll speak a lot.

- …

- But first of all look at the blackboard. You see different words, what are they about?

- …

- So, what will we discuss now judging by the words?

- Yes, we'll speak about weather, do you like it?

- ….

- O'k! Thank you! And now we'll read a short poem? What is it about?

This is the season
When mornings are dark,
And birds do not sing
In the forest and park.

This is the season
When children ski,
And Santa Clause
Brings a Christmas tree.

- Yes, you are right, winter is coming!

- And at home you were to refresh your words, I'll give you 2 minutes to refresh them.

- So, the first task is to guess the words by their codes.

19,16,15,9,12 - spoil

4,9,19,1,19,20,5,18 - disaster

16,5,18,19,15,14,1,12,12,25- personally

19,15,3,9,5,20,25- society

5,14,5,18,7,25- energy

16,9,3,14,9,3,11,5,15 - picnicker

1,3,3,5,14,20 - accent

19,8,15,3,11,5,4 - shocked

3,18,9,19,9,19 - crisis

- Good of you! And at home you also worked with the words, let's check it!

- Do you have any questions here? First of all tell me the difference between can/ tin, to spoil/to ruin, crisis/disaster, a bit/ a lot

- Right you are! Start checking it!

- You are right! And at home you also learnt a dialogue! What was it about?

- Yes, and now you are welcome to act them, you have 2 minutes to prepare it!

- Who wants to start?

- Good! You are welcome!

- Have you noticed any mistakes?

- O'k! What do you think about their marks?

- I agree with you! And tell me please what grammar material can we train using our dialogues?

- Absolutely right! Reported speech! What do you know about it?

- Tell me the rule!

- And now please let's transform sentences from our dialogue from direct into reported speech!

"I'm looking for a pet for my little daughter."

"Can I help you?"

"Which would you recommend?"

"Don't teach a pigeon to speak."

"Show me the gold fish!"

"What kind of pet did she like?"

- One by one, don't forget to translate sentences!

- Very good of you! And know write down your home task: words for dictation, ex.7 p.29, ex.2 p.31.

- Do you have any questions?

- O'k! And now let's talk about your marks for the lesson.

- Dima gets …. Masha gets …. Anton gets …

- Do you have any questions?

- Thank you for your work!

- The lesson is over! You may be free!
