Theme: Animals

Aims:

1. to practice types of questions, introduce new vocabulary.

2. to develop reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.

3. to bring up the feeling of love to the nature.

Materials: books, workbooks, visual aids, Power point presentation.

Warming up: Checking home task, types of questions

Practice:

Look at the pictures and find names of animal (Slide 2-5)

cock, hen, turkey, chicken, eagle, cuckoo, swan, gazelle, grouse (куропатка),

hedgehog, hawk (сокол), owl, goat, camel, frog, snake, bee, ant.

Game: Teacher names an animal and pupils show it nonverbally.

(Slide 7) Составьте 4 типа вопросов к следующим предложениям:

Swan can swim.

Eagle can fly.

Frog can jump.

Cow gives milk.

Camel lives in desert.

Bee makes honey.

Owl is a wise bird.
