Сабақ барысы:

1. Ұйымдастыру сәті

- Good afternoon.

- Good afternoon, our teacher. How are you?

- I'm very well, thank you. And how are you?

- We are fine, thank you.

- Then I'm glad to see you. Sit down.

2. Сергіту сәті

- Now boys and girls, let's play the game "Bingo". During this game we can repeat our vocabulary and check out. One pupil must come up to the blackboard and say the words in Kazakh, other pupils must find the translation of these words and circle.

In this way the teacher can check and repeat the dictionary.

3. Сабақтың негізгі бөлімі.

- Today we are going to repeat the theme "Comparative and superlative degrees of adjectives". Let's repeat the way how to make the degrees of adjectives using the pictures.

Short adj.

Long adj.

Now let's divide into two groups: "The strongest" and "The fastest". There are several rounds for you. Let's introduce: 1. Introduction

2. Describe the picture

3. Can you translate?

4. Fortune tree

In all these rounds you must use the degrees of adjectives and try to be active, lively and smart. For every right answer you'll take 5 points, except the 3 rd. round - can you translate? -

1. Introduction

The pupils introduce themselves.

For example: P1. My name is Marta. I'm 12. I want to be the most beautiful girl.

P2. My name is Bekzhan. I want to be the best son for my parents.

2. Describe the picture.

One pupil from each team comes up to the blackboard to describe the picture using the degrees of the adjectives.

For example: P1. This is Marta. She is 22. She is a teacher and her pupils are clever.

She has a big house and a large family. Her house is bigger than

Tom's house. Her family is larger than my family, etc.

P2. This is Askar. He is 12. He is my best friend. He has got a clever

dog and a white cat. His dog is the strongest. His cat is the smallest

cat in our yard, etc.

3. Can you translate?

Now these two teams can choose the questions with 20, 30 or 40 points according to its complication. They must translate the sentences which are under these points, make question and negative sentences.

For example: My neighbour's washing machine is bigger than my sister's machine.

Is my neighbour's washing machine bigger than my sister's machine?

My neighbour's washing machine is not bigger than my sister's machine.

4. Fortune tree.

One by one pupil takes sweets which are on the fortune tree. In these sweets there are questions about grammar:

1. Call the forms of the verb to be

2. Conjugate the verb to have

3. Countable and uncountable nouns

4. Sing the song in English, etc.

But in some of them they can find the sentence "You are happy!" It means 5 points to the team of that pupil.

(After all, the teacher counts the points and calls the winner)

At the end of our lesson let's see the sketch "In the café". (Pupils show the sketch using the structure: Would you like…, I would like some…, what would you like".)
