Урок английского языка в 8 классе Тема «Books and writers»

Задачи

Практические задачи:

1 Учить учащихся воспринимать на слух текст с общим пониманием прочитанного, игнорируя незнакомые слова.

2 Организовать устное употреблении в речи нового лексического материала

Общеобразовательные задачи:

1 Расширять кругозор учащихся.

2 Развивать готовность к дальнейшему самообразованию в овладении английским языком.

3 Расширять знания учащихся о книгах и писателях

Развивающие задачи

1 Развивать логическое мышление, языковую догадку.

2 Развивать зрительную память.

Воспитательные задачи:

1 Воспитывать понимание важности овладения английским языком и умение пользоваться им как средством общения.

2 Воспитывать уважение к мыслям собеседника

Цели:

1 Практиковать учащихся в употреблении в речи грамматических структур.

2 Практиковать учащихся в устных неподготовленных высказываниях

3 Учить общению

T-Good morning, boys and girls. Today we have guests, so let us turn to them and greet them, let us say to them "Hello".

So let us begin. The theme of our lesson is "Books and writers", today at our lesson we shall speak about the books, we shall revise grammar, listen to the audition , make up dialogues .

1 Предьявление текста для аудирования.

T: Today we are going to speak about one of the most wonderful things in the world. Well, try to guess what it is. It has no mouth, but speaks. It is not alive, but it can be a good friend. It is not a tree, but it has leaves. What is it?

P1: It's a book.

T: Right it's a book.So listen to a short story about the reading of the books and try to understand it.

Contemporary life is impossible without reading. The influence of literature on people's mind is great. Regular reading enriches your knowledge of the world and helps to form your entire personality. If a book appeals to you, it arouses lots of feelings and emotions in your heart. If you take to reading, the world of other people's ideas and problems becomes familiar to you. When you are taken away by a thrilling plot and by author's vivid imagination or by his humorous remarks or by the way he portrays people, you can't help reading the book from cover to cover, when the life of a literary character is similar to yours, you take events described close to heart. If you feel that you lack information, knowledge, and words to express your opinions - read more! Thanks to books we can talk to people who lived in different countries and ages. A book is one of the greatest wonders of the world. It gives you a unique chance to link up with authors who lived hundreds and thousands years ago. The book is a faithful and undemanding friend. It can be put aside and taken up again at any moment.. Read more and you'll never be bored!

T- Now listen to the story once again and discuss your opinions about the reading. Act it out, dramatize the situation. I will give you 5 minutes.
