Merry Christmas
Magician: Dear guests! We are happy to see you today! We are going to celebrate Christmas tonight. Enjoy our party with us!
Angel 1: Christmas. A moment of magic in all our lives. It's a special time when we wish you and your families love, health and happiness. And lasting peace throughout the world.
Angel 2: The Americans celebrate Christmas on the 25th of December. As you know, Christmas is a religious holiday. Families come together to share their happiness, attend church, and exchange gifts.
Angel 3: The Christmas story comes from the Bible. It tells us an interesting story of shepherds who were watching their sheep when an angel appeared to them. He told them that a Saviour had been born in Bethlehem.
Angel 4: The shepherds went there to see Jesus. The baby Jesus was born in a stable. His mother was the Virgin Mary and his father was Joseph.
Angel 5: The Bible tells us how the Wise Men followed a star until it led them to Jesus. The Wise Men gave Jesus many gifts. Because of the birth of Jesus Christ, the Christians celebrate Christmas.
Angel 6: Christmas tree is becoming popular in England in the 1840. The Americans choose a tree and decorate it with ornaments and lights. Have a look at our Christmas tree!(показывает рукой в сторону елки)
Angel 7: It's wonderful, isn't it? You can see a lot of toys on it' the lights are different: red, blue, yellow, green. On the top of the Christmas tree you can see an angel.
Christmas tree»)
"Christmas tree"
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
Your branches green delight us.
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
Your branches green delight us.
They're green when summer days are bright.
They're green when winter snow is white.
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree.
Your branches green delight us.
Magician: You are welcome the Pantomime about the Little Fir-Tree!
The Little Fir-Tree
Characters: Fir-tree, Story teller, Fairy, a Bad Man.
Story-teller: A little Fir-tree stood among the tall fir-trees in the forest. It was a little tree which wanted something it did not have.
Fir-tree: I want different leaves.
Story-teller: The Fairy of the forest heard its wish.
Fairy: What kind of leaves do you want?
Fir-tree: Oh, I want leaves of gold.
Story-teller: Next morning the little Fir-tree was glad to see that all its leaves had turned a beautiful yellow gold, but a man came along who picked all the gold leaves and carried them away in a bag.
Fir-tree began to weep.
Fir-tree: Oh, I'm so unhappy! I'm very cold. I have no leaves.
Fairy: What kind of leaves do you want now?
Fir-tree: Oh, I want leaves of glass.
Story-teller: Next morning little Fir-tree had leaves of glass. They looked beautiful. But in the afternoon the wind blew. The glass leaves were blown against one another and were all broken. Again the Fir-tree's branches were bare.
Fir-tree: Oh, I'm so unhappy! There are no leaves on my branches. I fell so cold.
Fairy: What kind of leaves do you want now?
Fir-tree: I want broad green leaves.
Story-teller: Next morning the little Fir-tree was glad to have a dress of large broad leaves. But in the night there was a heavy snowfall. The branches were broken.
Fir-tree: Oh, so unhappy am I! There are no leaves on my branches. I fell so cold.
Fairy: What kind of leaves do you want next?
Fir-tree: I want my own needles again.
Story-teller: The next day the little Fir-tree had its own needles and felt sure that there were no leaves in the world as fine as hers.
