Задачи обучения:

1. повторить в неформальной обстановке изученный материал по истории олимпийских игр,

2. научить переносить знания в новую ситуацию общения.

Задачи развития:

1. способствовать развитию памяти и логического мышления,

1. способствовать развитию интереса учащихся к изучению иностранного языка.

Задачи воспитания:

1. воспитывать инициативность и активность учащихся,

2. воспитывать чувство патриотизма,

3. формировать чувство организованности, трудолюбия.

ОБОРУДОВАНИЕ:

- компьютер, экран, проектор;

- 3 флажка;

- фишки для подсчета баллов;

- призы;

ВРЕМЯ ПРОВЕДЕНИЯ: 25.02.2014

ПРАВИЛА ИГРЫ:

• в викторине 3 раунда,

• в каждом раунде принимают участие три команды (по 5 человек),

• на каждый вопрос викторины команда поднимает флажок, если есть ответ,

• выигрывает в каждом раунде команда, ответившая правильно на большее количество вопросов.

ХОД ЗАНЯТИЯ

Good afternoon, dear friends! Though, you listened to the hymn of the Olympic Games in Russian, today we have an unusual occasion to speak English about this event in our country.

We are fond of sport: watching sport competitions on TV or going in for different kinds of sport. So, today we are going to have a performance devoted to Olympic Games. It is a sports quiz consisting of 3 rounds. The topics of them are: "The History of the Olympic Games", "Winter Olympic Sports", "Winter Olympic Games 2014".

You can't coach heart, you can never coach desire,

As you know, Russia is the host country of the Winter Games. The Olympic Games are over but soon will be Paralympic Games.

1. Do you know the motto of these Games? (Hot. Cool. Yours.)

2. What are the mascots? (polar bear, hare, leopard)

3. What can you see on the Olympic flag? (flag has 5 coloured interlaced rings, representing the5 parts of the world on a white background).

4. What do the colours of this rings mean? (green - Australia, blue - Europe, red - America, black - Africa, yellow - Asia)
