1. Situated - Kazakhstan is situated in the central part of the Euro-Asian continent.

2. Area- Kazakhstan has an area of 2,724, 900 square kilometers.

3. Border- It is border with Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and China.

4. Capital- The capital of the republic is Astana.

5. Population- The population of Kazakhstan is over 17 million people.6. Consist- Kazakhstan consists of 14 regions, and 223 districts.

7. City- There are 83 cities in Kazakhstan.

8. Language- Kazakh is the state language, but Russian is officially used on an equal basis with Kazakh.

9. Nationality- People of 120 nationalities live in the country10. Agriculture- Kazakhstan's main agricultural products are wheat, meat, vegetables.

The UK is a country in north-western Europe. It is bordered to the south by the English Channel; to the east by the North Sea; to the west by the Irish Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.

The official name of the UK is the "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland".

The name refers to the union of what were once four separate nations: England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland (though most of Ireland is now independent).

The United Kingdom (UK) was formed in on January 1, 1801 and constitutes the greater part of the British Isles. The Queen is Head of State in the United Kingdom. As a constitutional monarch, Her Majesty does not 'rule' the country, but fulfils important ceremonial and formal roles with respect to Government. People in the UK are called British although they have different nationalities. The name refers to the union of what were once four separate nations: England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland (though most of Ireland is now independent). The United Kingdom is made up of:

England - The capital is London.

Scotland - The capital is Edinburgh .

Wales - The capital is Cardiff.

Northern Ireland - The capital is Belfast.

The total area of the U.K. is 244.000 square kilometers with a population of 57 million. It is one of the most populated countries in the world. About 80 percent of people live in numerous towns and cities. Main language is English. Very often the inhabitants of The United Kingdom and Northern Ireland are called British. Britain's unit of currency is the Great British Pound (sterling) - GBP. The symbol for the pound sterling is £.

London is the biggest city in Britain and one of the biggest in the world. More than eight million people live and work there. London is one of the most important cities in the world. It is the centre for business and for tourism.

In London you can find some of the best theatres, cinemas and museums. There are many beautiful old churches in London.

There are about 10 thousand streets in London. Most of the streets are not very wide. There are a lot of shops in London. The main shopping centre is Oxford Street. You can buy nearly everything here. People from all over the world do shopping in Oxford Street. You can find many old and new beautiful parks in the city. The largest park in London is Hyde Park. It is one of the most popular places of Londoners on hot summer days. There are many other pleasant parks and green squares there too.

The mountains in G.B. are not very high. There are many rivers in Great Britain, but they are not very long. The Themes is the deepest, the longest and the most important river in England.

The climate of Great Britain is mild. It is not very cold in winter and hot in summer. The average temperature in January is about 5C above zero. February is the coldest month in the year. The summers are cool and rainy. July is the warmest month. There is much rain and flog in autumn and winter. October is the rainiest month in the year.
