План-конспект открытого урока в 11 классе по теме: «Признание и карьера».

Цель урока: развивать навыки монологической речи по теме "Выбор профессии"; совершенствовать лексические навыки и расширить лексический запас учащихся, а также подготовить учащихся к письменному сочинению по теме.

Задачи урока:

  • Образовательные: развивать навыки монологической устной и письменной речи; активизировать ранее изученную лексику по теме "Выбор профессии" в устной и письменной речи; развивать навыки аудирования, умение общаться на английском языке.

  • Развивающие: развивать интеллектуальные способности учащихся; формировать умение выделять главное, сравнивать и анализировать.

  • Воспитательные: развивать у учащихся самостоятельность мышления; содействовать профориентации учащихся.

Тип урока: повторение и закрепление полученных знаний с использованием информационных технологий.

Оснащение урока: УМК, доска, мультимедийное оборудование, диск.

Дидактический материал:

1. М.З. Биболетова Учебник английского языка для 11-го класса.
2. Рабочая тетрадь к учебнику английского языка для 11-го класса.
3. Карточки с заданиями.


ХОД УРОКА

I. Организационный момент. Сообщение целей и задач урока.

Teacher: Good morning, boys an girls. Today we`re going to have an unusual lesson. I hope you`ll try and do your best during our lesson. And the topic of our today`s lesson is Profession.

We`re going to work according to the following plan: We`ll revise the words, do some lexical exercises; discuss characteristics of different professions, read and translate the text and talk about the problem of choosing a careeer.

Word Focus

And from the very beginning I`d like you to think and tell me what`s the difference between the following words:

"job" "Profession" and "Occupation"

Job - work that you do regularly to earn money
Profession - a job that you need special skills and qualifications to do

Occupation - a job or profession.

Different professions have different characteristics. So now let`s recollect them.

VII. Чтение и проверка домашнего задания.

At home you were to prepare good reading and translation of the text «Choosing a career». Now we are going to read and translate some paragraphs. Any volanteers?

VIII. Практика устной речи. Говорение по теме.

And now please express your opinion on the following:

  1. Some people say that young people should have as much fun as possible during their youth. Others, however, believethat yuong people should think seriously about their future.

  2. Many parents feel that there children should follow their advice in choosing a career path. However, there are some who believe that they have no right in deciding their children`s future.

  3. There are some people who believe that a high income is the most important thing in a successful career. On the other hand, there are others who believe that job satisfaction is more important.

In your answers please use the following words and word combinations.
