Тип уроку: урок узагальнення, урок-гра.

Тема: Animals and birds

Мета: активізувати вивчену лексику з даної теми, розвивати уміння

монологічного та діалогічного мовлення, розвивати інтонаційний слух, слухову й зорову пам'ять; виховувати любов до предмету, привчати учнів до напруженої розумової праці під час уроку, до певних вимог дисципліни.

Обладнання: м'яч, картки із зображенням тварин, плакати, магнітофон.

І. Організаційний момент.

Teacher. - Good morning children! Today is a fine day.

The sun is shining, the birds are singing. It`s a good time to make an excursion. Would you like to go for a walk to the forest?

Children. - Yes, of course.

Teacher. - Children, do you know who lives in the forest?

Children. - Yes! A wolf , a fox , a monkey, . . . .

Teacher. - And do you know who is a king of all animals?

Children.- Yes, It`s a lion.

П. Рольова гра "Lion"s Birthday"

Teacher.- Do you know, that today is lion`s birthday ? We`ll have a great holiday!

Lion. -Dear friends! Who has a present for me?

P1. - I have.

Lion. - Who are you?

P1. - I am a squirrel. I am grey and red. I have a bushy tail. I have nuts for you.

P2. - I have a present too.

Lion. - Who are you?

P2. - I am a bear. I am brown. I am big. I like honey. This honey is for you.

P3. - I have a present too.

Lion. - Who are you?

P3. - I am a hare. I am grey in summer and white in winter. I have carrots and cabbage for you.

Lion. - I like presents. And what about you, fox? Do you have a present for me?

Fox. - Yes, I have. I want you to guess what it is.

Lion. - Is it a piece of meat?

Fox. - No, it isn`t.

Lion. - Is it a new hat?

Fox. - No, it isn`t.

Lion. - Is it a fish?

Fox. - No, it isn`t.

Lion. Oh, I don`t know.

Teacher. - Children, help the lion !

P1. - Is it a bag?

Fox. - No, it isn`t.

P2. - Is it a book?

Fox. - No, it isn`t.

P3. - Is it a pen?

Fox. - No, it isn`t.

P4. …, P5. …,… .

Mouse. - Is it a flower?

Fox. - Yes, it is. I have many flowers for our king!

Wolf. - And I have a biggest cake for our king!

Lion. - Oh, thanks. Let`s sing, dance and play. I have a birthday!

Teacher. - Children, let`s congratulate our Lion. Let`s sing the song "Happy Birthday"!

Ш. Основна частина уроку.

Teacher. - Let`s play now. We are going to play a game "My favorite things"

I toss the ball to each of you and you name your favorite thing.

For example: T. - P1 mouse - cheese

T. - P2 duck - fish

T. - P3 squirrel - nut

T. - P4 rabbit - carrot

T. - P5 monkey - banana, … .

Teacher. - Let`s play another game " Mothers and their babies ".We have two teams. The team which makes more sentences will be a winner.

Make the sentences with such structure "A cat has a kitten ".For every true sentence you`ll get a balloon.

A cat a calf

A cow a chicken

A pig a mouse

A bear a kid

A sheep a teddy-bear

A goat a kitten

A dog a piglet

A mouse a lamb

A duck a puppy

A hen a duckling

Teacher. - Let`s count the balloons.

Lion. - Oh! I ,m tired. Let`s have a rest.

Teacher. - Let`s do mimic exercises.

Trot like a horse,

Run like a hare,

Climb like a monkey in the zoo.

Slide like a snake,

Skip like a girl,

Hop like a frog and then

Clap your hands high,

Clap your hands low.

Teacher. - Guess the crossword. It contains pictures.

Teacher. - It`s a pity. But our snake is ill now. She could not come, but she has sent a letter. Look! You can see a word snake. Find the names of the animals here. Who is quicker? You have 5 minutes. Write down the names of animals.

  1. Write a short composition about your favourite animal ( 5 - 6 sentences )

  2. Ask your friend about his ( her ) favourite animal. Write 5 questions.
