Игра «Путешествие в страну Грэмалэнд»

Форма проведения: игра.

Цели:

- воспитание межличностных отношений, культуры общения;

- расширение эрудиции учащихся;

- развитие интереса к учению и формирование познавательной активности.

Задачи:

- повышать интерес к изучению английского языка;

- расширять кругозор учащихся и приобщать к культурному наследию страны изучаемого языка;

- развивать внимание, память и наблюдательность.

Оборудование: магнитофон, карточки с заданиями, вырезанные из цветной бумаги ключи, клей.

Ход мероприятия

. Организационный момент.

Miss Grammar. Dear friends! Let me introduce myself. My name is Miss Grammar. I am from Grammarland. I want to travel with you to Grammarland and to visit this Grammar Castle. When you visit it you will know much more about English Grammar. But the way there will not be easy. You should do some tasks and after that you will able to come into it.

. Проведение игры.

Команды выполняют задание. Та команда, которая наберет больше ключей (оцениваются правильность и скорость выполнения), выигрывает и получает право войти в замок. Команда-победитель получает оценку «отлично».

Task 1. «Am, is, and are».

Miss Grammar. At first you should remember what the forms of the verb «to be» in Present are. (Учащиеся называют формы.) You should fill in «am, is, are» in the given text.

Hello! My name___ Miss Grammar. I___from Grammarland. My country ___not very big. But there____many castles, houses there. My country ___old. It ____ many, many centuries old. A lot of people visit my country because they want to imrove their English. Welcome to Grammarland.

За каждое правильное предложение - ключ. Максимум в этом задании - 6 ключей.

Task 2. «What are you going to do?»

Miss Grammar. Now you should answer my question: What are you going to do in Grammarland?

Учащиеся отвечают на вопрос по очереди, употребляя структуру to be going to.

Speak English, skip, go shopping, take pictures, go abroad, miss Maths lessons, play English games, learn Grammar rules, arrange a picnic, stay with my little sister, sing English songs, translate texts, answer the questions, study History, improve English.

Возможные ответы учащихся:

P₁. We are going to speak English.

P_2. We are going to arrange a picnic.

Жюри оценивают ответы. По результатам выдаются ключи.

Task 3. «Irregular Verbs».

Miss Grammar. Do you know English verbs? What is an irregular verb? What is an regular verb? Yes, you are right. The captains of our teams should give the three forms of the verbs.

На столе лежат карточки с глаголами. По очереди, вытягивая карточки, капитаны называют три формы глаголов. По результатам - ключ.

Task 4 «Tag-questions».

Miss Grammar. Today I asked you many questions. But I do not know if you can put the questions. I mean tag-questions. What is a tag-question? Yes, well done.

Do my task. You should clue the tags in a proper place.

Учащиеся получают карточки и приклеивают «хвостики» к вопросам.

Task 5.

Miss Grammar. Everyone likes to dream. Sometimes you say: «If I … I would …». Will you make up sentences using this structure?

If I had a brother.

If I go abroad.

If I was a magician.

Учащиеся получают карточки с заданиями. Необходимо дописать предложения.

. Подведение итогов.

Miss Grammar. I see that your teams did my tasks very well. But the team «…» is the best. It has more keys than other one. So it has a right to come into our Grammar Castle.

Команды награждаются грамотами и сладкими призами.
