Santa Claus Never Forgets

Jimmy Longman was a very good boy. He was kind, gentle, and truthful. But he had, however, one bad feature, - he often forgot. And to every parents' or friends' request he had the same answer "I forgot".
So, his mom and dad discussed this matter, and decided to help their little son remember.
Christmas was near, and Jimmy was busy: he was making a list of gifts Santa was to bring him on Christmas.
"Santa Claus is very old and he's got so much work now. He may forget some of those things," said Mrs. Longman to her son.
"He cannot," said Jimmy; "I'll write everything on this beautiful Christmas paper and put it into the stocking above the fireplace. And when Santa Claus comes up to my stocking he will find the list. He'll be able to see it and put all the things not missing anything."
Christmas morning came, and Jimmy was up at dawn. He ran downstairs to see what was in his stocking. The happy boy put his hand inside his Christmas stocking and found only a roll in it.
The boy opened the roll. It was a list of all the requests Jimmy had forgotten about. And "I FORGOT" was written at the end.
Jimmy was very upset. Some time later they all went to grannie's to have their Christmas dinner together. Jimmy was really surprised to find everything from his list under his grandparents' Xmas tree. And his Granny gave him a postcard. "Santa Claus never forgets", it said. "Hope, you won't, either
