Урок Достопримечательности Лондона

Цели уроки: тренировка техники чтения вслух и про себя; активизация грамматических и лексических навыков; актуализация навыков во­просно-ответной работы, расширение кругозора учащихся, ознакомление со страной изучаемого языка.

Оборудование: картинки по теме «Лондон».

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент

• Good afternoon, boys and girls. I'm glad to meet you. How are you today?

• Who is on duty today?

• What day is it today?

• Let's start the lesson now.

2. Фонетическая зарядка

Стихотворение-зарядка для пальчиков

Listen to me and repeat after me.

Three little monkeys jumping on the bed,

One fell off and bumped his bed.

Mama called the doctor and the doctor said:

"No more little monkeys jumping on that bed".

III. Речевая разминка

Игра «Клубок»

Дети встают в круг. Учитель подает клубок, конец нитки оставляет у себя по очереди и задает во­просы в настоящем продолженном или настоящем неопределенном вре­мени. Ученики по очереди передают клубок и отвечают на вопросы.

• Are you playing football now? (No, I am not. I am not playing football now.)

• Do you like your pet? (Yes, I do. I like my pet.)

• Do you watch TV every day? (Yes, I do. I watch TV every day.)

• Are you standing now? (Yes, I am. I am standing now.)

• Can you see the blackboard? (No, I can ^'t. I can't see the blackboard.)

• Do you want to be a doctor? (Yes, I do. I want to be a doctor.)

IV.Активизация грамматических навыков

Look at the cards on your desks. You can see some sentences on the cards. Complete the sentences with one of the variants. Ученики получают карточки с заданием и по очереди зачитывают предложения, обсуждая их, соглашаясь или нет.

Choose the right variant:

V. Тренировка лексических навыков по теме «Лондон»

- Let's listen to the words on the topic «London». Can you guess their
meaning? Now I want you to open your books, page 65, exercise 15.
Read these words after the speaker.

Учитель предлагает детям прослушать слова из упр. 16, с. 65 и догадаться об их значении. Затем ученики открывают учебники и читают слова за диктором.

VI. Совершенствование навыков техники чтения вслух и про себя

- I want you to open your books, page 65, exercise 16. Let's match the
postcards with the texts describing the places of interest. You'll have
4 minutes to do this task. Then we shall check up it all together.

Учитель организует выполнение упр. 16, с. 65 из учебника. Ученики течение 4 минут читают текст про себя и соотносят картинки и рассказы достопримечательностях Лондона. Затем учитель предлагает им назвать омера рассказов и буквы соответствующих текстов.

- Let's learn to pronounce the names of places of interest. You can find
them in exercise 17, page 66. Listen to the speaker and repeat the word

combinations after him.

Ученики повторяют за диктором словосочетания из упр. 17, с. 66 I читают вслух рассказы из упр. 16, с. 65.

VIII. Актуализация навыков вопросно-ответной работы по содержанию прочитанного материала

- Do you understand the stories well? I am sure you can answer my questions.

Учитель предлагает учащимся ответить на вопросы по содержанию прочитанных отрывков из упр. 16, с. 65. Примерные вопросы:

• What is the name of the famous clock in London? (Its name is Big Ben.)

• Where does Big Ben stand? (Big Ben stands near the Houses of Parliament)

• How often can you hear Big Ben? (You can hear Big Ben every hour.)

• How much does the big bell weigh? (It weighs 13, 720 kilograms.)

• Where do the Houses of Parliament stand? (They stand beside the river Thames.)

• What was built by King Edward in 1065? (Westminster Abbey was built by King Edward in 1065.)

• Who founded Westminster Abbey? (St. Peter founded Westminster Abbey.)

• Does the Queen of Britain live in the Tower? (No, she doesn 't. She doesn 't live in the Tower.)

• Where does the Queen stay when she is in London? (When the Queen is in London she stays in Buckingham Palace.)

- Where does the coronation of all British Kings and Queens take place? (The coronation of all British Kings and Queens takes place in Westminster Abbey.)

• What is the oldest part of the Tower of London? (The oldest part of the Tower of London is the White Tower.)

• What places in London do you like to visit? (I like to visit Westminster and hear Big Ben.)
