Тема: Ролевая игра "On the way to the sights of London "

Цель урока: применение изученной лексики по теме «On the way to School » в новой учебной ситуации.

Задачи: 1. Формирование речевой и компенсаторной компетенций;

2. Закрепление изученных ранее лексических единиц

3. Повышение мотивации к изучению английского языка

4. Активизация знаний учащихся по теме «Достопримечательности Лондона»

Оборудование: слайды с словами и фразами, презентация на тему «Достопримечательности Лондона» , входные билеты.

The beginning of the lesson

Teacher: Good morning! I am glad to see you! How are you! Do you want to play?

Today we'll have an unusual lesson. We are going to visit London! Some of you will be tourists; others will be Londoners and the sellers of the tickets.

If the tourists want to get to the British Museum, they have to ask the way and buy a ticket!

Londoners have to explain the way using the map!

Sellers have to sell the tickets!

Let's divide into 5 groups, each group consists of 3 persons and every student should play the role of a tourist, Londoner and a seller.

Speech warming-up: key vocabulary

But at first I'm going to check how you know the vocabulary on the theme "On the way to school". Translate the word combinations into English (показ слайда)

Well done! I see you know the vocabulary very well.

Let's remember the sights of London using the presentation!

Role play

Let's start our game and discuss the following questions and phrases:

Игровая ситуация максимально приближена к реальным условиям. Задавая вопросы и отвечая на них, учащиеся демонстрируют свою способность вести диалог, учитель выполняет роль наблюдателя , который слушает, корректирует ответы и вопросы детей. Каждый учащийся к концу урока должен приобрести входной билет.
